Banana Muffins II

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2010
PERFECTION! Just make sure to mash bananas before mixing with the rest of the ingredients, otherwise, you'll have uncooked banana chunks in the muffin, like I did. Also added walnuts and it was a nice addition.

Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
Awesome recipe - I came in second at a local salsa cookoff. The colors in this recipe are amazing and beautiful. Added a little bit of lime juice and roma tomatoes. Also used red onions but a bit too much, and that's with only 1/2 an onion. May decrease it a bit for next time.

It's Chili by George!!

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2010
Amazing recipe. You can make your own changes to the recipe and it'll still come out great. I added diced carrots, used only 2 cans of diced tomato with an extra diced roma tomato and although a bit chuncky (which is how I like it), it still had enough juiciness to it. I also used 1/2 ground turkey and 1/2 ground beef and the taste is amazing.

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

Reviewed: Apr. 29, 2010
AWESOME recipe. As a lot of other reviewers commented, the cake gets better the longer you let it sit. I substituted a cup of coffee for the water and it was perfect. Used a little more cocoa powder also for rich chocolate taste. No fail recipe, just follow it exactly.

Sugar Glazed Walnuts

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2010
So so easy. I made this for the first time and couldn't believe how easy it was. The zoo sells glazed almonds, a small bag, for $6. For that price you can make quadruple the amount if you make your own.

Awesome recipe! If you're out of regular milk, soy milk can be substituted, which is what I did. It gives it extra flavor.

Simple Whole Roasted Chicken

Easy and excellent recipe! I took the advice of others and cooked it at 350 for 2 hours and the skin was nice and golden and the meat was tasy and juicy. I got a 4 lb. chicken for $5 and we had an awesome dinner!

GREAT recipe! You can pretty much make this your own and any combination of spices will work. I will make garlic fries next time and see how they turn out.

Biscotti

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
Very easy recipe. Made it for the first time and it came out great. Only change is to turn the temperature down a bit when cooking the sliced biscotti. A few were burned. I made yet another batch and added toasted chopped almonds and it came out wonderful.

Best Cream Of Broccoli Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 8, 2010
Excellent cream of broccoli soup. I didn't use as much milk (only 1/2 c), and used water instead of chicken stock, came out great. You can also add other veggies which I will do next time.
