Breakfast Quiches to Go

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
Very easy recipe. A great breakfast on-the-go idea, love it! Wasn't a great fan of the cream cheese in this recipe so will put less or skip altogether next time. I added ham and a little less spinach and it came out great. Will add some bacon next time. All in all, FANTASTIC recipe! (update 2/3/10) I've made these quiche cups time and time again and everytime I bring them to a breakfast potluck everyone raves about them. Very versatile recipe, you can use ham, bacon, whatever meat you have on hand along with the eggs, cream cheese, maybe a little bit of spinach or even green onions. All these variations come out wonderful.

Oven Roasted Potatoes

GREAT recipe! You can pretty much make this your own and any combination of spices will work. I will make garlic fries next time and see how they turn out.

Excellent pumpkin cake. I have to agree with other reviews, a little on the oily side, will cut down on oil next time. Great pumpkin taste, not overpowering.

Butternut Squash Soup

First time making this and it was very easy and delicious. I went easy on the chili pepper because of my MIL and even with that, she loved it.

Awesome recipe. You can leave out the chicken bouillon, just salt to taste. Very yummy soup for cold weather.

Mango Salsa

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2010
Awesome recipe - I came in second at a local salsa cookoff. The colors in this recipe are amazing and beautiful. Added a little bit of lime juice and roma tomatoes. Also used red onions but a bit too much, and that's with only 1/2 an onion. May decrease it a bit for next time.

Green Eggs and Ham Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
Although beautiful to look at the taste was so so. There was too much bisquick and made it taste too bread-like. Next time will use less bisquick and more eggs.

Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
Very yummy and easy. I mixed confectioner's sugar and butter with the peanut butter to make it more creamy and easy to pour. Skip the oil altogether. And instead of chocolate chips, I used candy coating from the store, the ones you use to make chocolate candy. Perfect.

So, so easy. If you have leftover rice, ham, green onions and eggs, you have a quick meal that takes less than 10 minutes to make. Dinner accomplished.

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
Very easy and very yummy. I didn't have chunky peanut butter so used creamy peanut butter and added some peanuts. Also was short on corn syrup so added honey. It came out perfect. I will never purchase granola bars from the store again. This is not only easy, but also healthy and very economical.

Cranberry Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
I saw the recipe and have been dying to make it. I finally did tonight and they are the best cookies I've ever had. It's the perfect blend of the cranberry and orange. Simply delicious and refreshing. Wouldn't change a thing. Don't need the glaze, perfect without it.

Biscotti

Reviewed: Oct. 21, 2011
Very easy recipe. Made it for the first time and it came out great. Only change is to turn the temperature down a bit when cooking the sliced biscotti. A few were burned. I made yet another batch and added toasted chopped almonds and it came out wonderful.

Easy and excellent recipe! I took the advice of others and cooked it at 350 for 2 hours and the skin was nice and golden and the meat was tasy and juicy. I got a 4 lb. chicken for $5 and we had an awesome dinner!

I just made my first batch of these shortbread cookies. They are amazing but will be adding a little more sugar next time. I halved the recipe and ended up with approximately 30 cookies.
