Breakfast Quiches to Go

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2009
Very easy recipe. A great breakfast on-the-go idea, love it! Wasn't a great fan of the cream cheese in this recipe so will put less or skip altogether next time. I added ham and a little less spinach and it came out great. Will add some bacon next time. All in all, FANTASTIC recipe! (update 2/3/10) I've made these quiche cups time and time again and everytime I bring them to a breakfast potluck everyone raves about them. Very versatile recipe, you can use ham, bacon, whatever meat you have on hand along with the eggs, cream cheese, maybe a little bit of spinach or even green onions. All these variations come out wonderful.

Mini Sour Cream Biscuits

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
The easiest biscuits to make! I added a little bit of sugar to give it some sweetness. This is a really good basic recipe. Can add some garlic to make garlic biscuits, add cheddar to make cheddar biscuits.

Strawberry Pie II

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
Delicious and simple recipe. Only thing I didn't like was the way it looked, think I prefer a clear glaze over the fresh strawberries, would have been much more appealing and attractive.

Broccoli Beef I

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
Awesome recipe! Easy to make and comes out perfect everytime! (update 2/3/10) I just made this again last night. Didn't have broccoli so used brussel sprouts and carrots that I had on hand. It came out perfect. Followed recipe exactly and is perfect. Good over white rice. Kids will love it, my 5-year-old does!

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2009
I've made these cookies time and time again. Everytime they come out perfect. I've given these to friends and they say it's even better than Mrs. Fields! FANTASTIC recipe. (update 2/3/10) I don't know how many times I've made these cookies but everyone says they are the best chocolate chip cookies ever. Also very versatile. I've used regular chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, and am going to try white chocolate macadamia nut ones soon. EXCELLENT recipe. (another update 2/5/10) I made these cookies with white chocolate chips. They are soooo good! Just set the temperature at 325 and they will not burn. If you bake them at 350 they will burn fast because white chocolate is actually the fat from the cocoa bean.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 10, 2009
This is a very easy recipe and tastes amazing! The dough is very sticky so add more flour. Also add 1/4 cup more sugar as the cookies tend to lose their sweet flavor when cooked.

Pumpkin Cake III

Excellent pumpkin cake. I have to agree with other reviews, a little on the oily side, will cut down on oil next time. Great pumpkin taste, not overpowering.

Pumpkin Butter I

Reviewed: Dec. 30, 2009
It was my first time this year making this and it was awesome! Very easy to make and must try. Cooking it takes a bit of time and you need to be careful because even at simmer, the pumpkin butter boils quite heavily. Easy to make, great on toast in the morning with your coffee.

I just made a batch of these oatmeal cookies and they are the best oatmeal cookies I've ever had! I did add the cup of raisins and they were absolutely perfect! I've also added walnuts, and they are amazing. Bakery style cookies for sure.

Cranberry Orange Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 8, 2010
I saw the recipe and have been dying to make it. I finally did tonight and they are the best cookies I've ever had. It's the perfect blend of the cranberry and orange. Simply delicious and refreshing. Wouldn't change a thing. Don't need the glaze, perfect without it.

Gobble Up Granola Snacks

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
Very easy and very yummy. I didn't have chunky peanut butter so used creamy peanut butter and added some peanuts. Also was short on corn syrup so added honey. It came out perfect. I will never purchase granola bars from the store again. This is not only easy, but also healthy and very economical.

Three Berry Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
This is a super easy and excellent berry pie recipe. Very comparable to Marie Callender's. But the filliing was too runny. Next time will put more cornstarch. Also filling was not enough, will need to add more. Otherwise, VERY GOOD recipe!

Pumpkin Cake II

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
FANTASTIC recipe! So very easy to put together. I didn't have regular pumpkin puree but had organic pumpkin pie puree and because it had all the spices in it, it added tons of flavor. Very moist and very pumpkiny taste. Awesome!

Ham Fried Rice

So, so easy. If you have leftover rice, ham, green onions and eggs, you have a quick meal that takes less than 10 minutes to make. Dinner accomplished.

Peanut Butter Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
Very yummy and easy. I mixed confectioner's sugar and butter with the peanut butter to make it more creamy and easy to pour. Skip the oil altogether. And instead of chocolate chips, I used candy coating from the store, the ones you use to make chocolate candy. Perfect.

Green Eggs and Ham Quiche

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2010
Although beautiful to look at the taste was so so. There was too much bisquick and made it taste too bread-like. Next time will use less bisquick and more eggs.

Scrambled Egg Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
GREAT recipe! I didn't have a lot of the ingredients so used whatever I had, just eggs, ham and cheese and it came out very good. I took the suggestion of another reviewer and added a tbsp of water and it came out fluffy. Also, I did not use any seasonings. The cheese and the ham gave it plenty of flavor. I sprayed the muffin tins with Pam and it came out without any problems, unlike some reviewers' comments. You can totally vary this recipe to your taste. AWESOME recipe!
