Mustard Pomegranate Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
I used chicken instead of pork and pan fried it but followed everything else the same. The flavor was amazing. The only thing I would do different next time is to double the sauce to pour over mashed potatoes.

This salad is really good. I don't really like blue cheese so I used feta instead. Amazing recipe

Chicken Lo Mein

Reviewed: Feb. 13, 2011
I thought this was really good. I only used 1 lb of chicken and added some broccoli to it. I also used fresh pasta since I think it tastes better for these types of dishes. I did change the order I cooked it in since I feel I get a better result. First I cooked the chicken, which I didn't marinade, until it wasn't pink anymore. Next I added and cooked the veggies. I added the cooked pasta with what was suppose to be the marinade and the sesame oil and cooked until it thickened then served.

Twice-Cooked Coconut Shrimp

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2011
These were amazing and the sauce was fantastic. My husband asked me to make them again the next day. I think I'll add some panko next time but it is a great recipe.

Beer Batter Fish Made Great

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2011
Great recipe. I cut the salt in half and coated the fish in flour before dipping it in the batter. Drained it on paper towels to remove oil. Came out perfect. Just like a restaurant.

Chakchouka (Shakshouka)

This was great! My husband loved it. The only thing I would change it to half the salt since it was a bit salty for my taste but otherwise it was great.

Dark Chocolate Cake I

Reviewed: Nov. 5, 2010
A wonderful cake. Made it for a friends birthday and she loved it. I filled two 8" cake pans and used the left over batter for muffins. When the cakes had cooled, I stacked them with a raspberry filling of 8 oz fresh raspberries and 6 Tbs raspberry preserves. I also made a double recipe for Buttercream Icing (By Sharon Gerstman) with vanilla bourbon since I ran out of vanilla extract. The cake looked so professional and it tasted amazing.

Orange-Glazed Asparagus

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2011
These were really good as written. The only change I made was to use tangerine juice and zest. I also threw in some fresh tangerine slices during the last minute which was a hit.

Basil Chicken over Angel Hair

Reviewed: Feb. 27, 2011
Great flavor but the sauce wasn't enough so I doubled it and added 1/2 cup white wine and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes instead of the chili sauce. I also used the parm crust in the sauce while it cooked.

This is the best lamb ever. I followed other reviewers cooking time suggestions and added some lemon and balsamic vinegar. Turned out great. I might try it in the crock pot next time.

Pecan Clouds

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
They weren't the prettiest thing I've ever seen but the taste was so heavenly. Not hard to make, just make sure its not raining outside or they won't set right because of the moisture in the air. One of my new favorites

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2011
This was amazingly good. I used the whole amount of curry and cooked it in oil for a minute, then added chicken. Cooked that for a couple of minutes then followed the rest of the recipe. Added finely chopped lime leaves at the end. Excellent

Tastes great and easy. I used fresh ginger since I can't stand the taste of ground ginger. Once you use the fresh its hard to go back.
