This was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be making this again! I did made a few minor changes, though. I used 2 cans of apple pie filling instead of one and yellow cake mix in lieu of the muffin mix. I mixed in some cinnamon with the apple pie filling and sprinkled a little more over the melted butter and cake mix. Also the 20 minute baking time was not enough time to brown it well. I baked it for almost an hour.

Cream Cheese Squares

Delicious!!!I made this last night and everyone just loved it! The only changes I made was adding an egg to the cream cheese mixture since it was kinda stiff and decreased the sugar to 3/4 cup. It came out perfect! Can't wait to try alternative additives(like apple pie filling) as suggested by others

Prairie Meat Loaf

I agree with Pam-3BoysMama. I too wondered if the use of oatmeal caused it to fall apart. Maybe I'll try bread crumbs in lieu of the oats. I did like the flavor though but I prefer meat loaf over meat mush...

Pork Chops a la Slow Cooker

Funny I should find this recipe in my e-mail this particular morning. I am preparing it right at this moment.Yes, I have had this recipe for a long long time, except mine is called Chicken Licken' Pork Chops. This is THE BEST pork chop recipe ever!!! At my house, it's a family favorite. I usually triple the number of chops and double the flour mixture, that way i have leftovers for the next day or two if I know I'm going to be too busy to cook.

Southwest Stew

I made this recipe last week and my family really loved it! I didn't have any picante sauce on hand so I used Salsa instead and it was excellent! Next time I'll try adding some taco seasoning as suggested by a few others here. Also may be good topped with some crumbled tortilla chips and a dollop of sour cream!
