About this Cook
I am a busy mom, and finding time to cook is sometimes difficult. I love to cook when I can try new things, I am really starting to like to play with indregiants and experiment a bit.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and try new recipes. I don't think that I have a favorite thing to cook.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family is Mexican American so we tend to eat a lot of Mexican foods, but that gets boring so I do try to try a lot of new things, and expose my family to new tastes.

Creamy Herbed Pork Chops
Not many recipes can satisfy the whole family! This did, and they wanted more! I would double it next time because I only had 4 chops. Next time I would double the sauce and use 8 chops! Make this!!!!

Apple Crisp II
Super delicious and VERY easy". I used Granny Smith apples and the ONLY change I made was that I baked it covered! It was a big hit and the left overs were equally delicious!

Beef Barley Vegetable Soup
This was a delicious soup, and perfect for a cold fall day. I diced the meat into cubes from the start, and added the tomatoes, bay leaf, water, and bouillon cubes too. About two hours later, I added the onion and carrots, as well as the mixed veggies. An hour before I served- I added the celery and some salt. I used Quaker quick cook barley and cooked it seperately, and just added it in the last 20 minutes before serving. Total cooking time on high in the crock pot was about 5 hours. It was delicious.
