I love to bake anything chocolate and making breads during the holidays! Family is my greatest love and raising my girls takes up the better part of my time. I enjoy trying things on my own. I really like making chili! I love baking homemade fudge brownies. Decorating cakes is something I want to do more of. My mom was the main cook who made sure both daughters knew how to cook but my dad wasn't bad, either. His favorite holiday tradition is homemade hot chocolate. He's given the recipe to my husband and we make it for every Thanksgiving and Christmas event. It's a mainstay at family dinners and parties! Definitely fudge brownies. I've been asked for the recipe by several friends and family members. Since I've been married, I've gotten better at making biscuits, something Mom taught my sister and I as well. But I've learned that buttermilk makes them divine! Once as a teenager learning to cook without a recipe, I decided to make a mexican-style casserole. I put groundbeef,corn,paprika, onions and green peppers together with elbow noodles and as a final touch, added CINNAMON!! It was awful! I didn't tell my family what was in it, but after one bite, they knew. My dad stills laughs about my cinnamon casserole!
