About Me
I love to cook for my family, I also like sharing things I learn with others. I work at learning new recieps all the time. I like taking a new reciepe to each family gathering. Sometime a few famly memebers will ask before they try. Thats OK I love trying new things
My favorite things to cook
Deserts, Chicken, PORK, Breads,
My favorite family cooking traditions
at all family gathering try something new.
My cooking triumphs
Home made bread, the old way. I love to try and bake like my grandmother did bake in the early 1900's in central Texas with only a wood burning stove and a ICE box, try it go back to bascis it really lets you apperciate the new tools we have. in 2008 I found out what it was like not to have electricity for 15 days, I found out that I LOVE ELECTRICITY.
My cooking tragedies
My first Turkey, I left the giblits inside, But they cooked to perfection and everyone loved for a late snack that evening. I know where to look now. LOL
