Kelli's Fried Green Zucchini

These zucchini were absolutely delightful! I didn't bother with the mozzarella or the sauce. Can't wait to make them again!

This sauce was delicious! I didn't have any cream, so I just used milk instead. It was still very tasty!

Mixed Vegetable Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 28, 2010
This casserole worked well for a quick side dish. However, I would use half the mayo next time. It overpowered the dish.

Mama D's Italian Bread

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
WOW!!!! This is THE BEST bread I have ever made!!! I made two batches and followed the directions to a T, except one batch I added Italian seasoning. I placed a dish of water on the bottom rack and baked the bread on the baking stone. I just took them out of the oven 5 minutes ago, and one roll is already gone! Let me tell you, they are out of this world! Gotta try it!!! I will be making this for my mother next time she visits!!

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2010
This was a great sandwich! I made my own focaccia bread and also added sprouts to the sandwich. I left out the feta because we didn't have any. The lemon garlic mayo definitely made this sandwich! Thanks so much, and I have a good amount left over to eat for lunch the rest of the this week!

Honey Mustard Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
WOW!!!! This is by far one of my favorite grilled chicken dishes now! I kept to the recipe exactly except cut up a whole chicken instead of using all breasts. Oh, I also tore up some fresh basil and threw it in. I marinaded the chicken for about 3 hours and grilled on indirect heat for about 30 minutes. The chicken was nicely sweetened from the honey and very juicy from the marinade. Thanks soo much!! I can't wait to make this again!!!

Creamy White Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2010
I didn't follow this recipe exactly because I was looking for a white wine sauce but not a creamy one. I replaced the cream with chicken broth but kept everything else the same. Very delicious!!

Soft Onion Sandwich Rolls

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
These rolls were delicious!!! I actually misread the directions and didn't add minced onions into the dough, only onion powder. I didn't have dried onions, so I cut up an onion and sauteed it in the pan and sprinkled it on top of the rolls before baking. Even without additional onions in the dough, it was still so yummy! Can't wait to make again!

Oyster and Spinach Chowder

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
This was a really simple soup to make. Half way through cooking, I realized I had a can of clams instead of oysters but used it anyways. Still turned out great! I will try it with oysters next time.

These biscuits were great! I added a dash of Old Bay seasoning and parsley to the batter. Other than that, didn't change a thing! Yum!

Baked Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2009
Wow! This was a delicious and easy way to cook chicken! I had a 4 1/2 pound bird. Instead of using foil, I used half an onion, some carrots, and some celery at the bottom of the slow cooker. I also poured in about a 1/2 cup of chicken stock. I rubbed salt, pepper, and sage under the skin as far as my hands could reach. I then placed the chicken on top of the veggies and drizzled some olive oil on the skin. I then rubbed the rest of the seasonings over the oiled skin. I started the chicken later than I wanted to, so I turned it on high for 2 hours and then set it low for 5 more hours. The legs and wings completely fell off as I was getting the chicken out. Very good!!!! Will definitely cook whole chickens this way again and again!

Loaded Tortillas

Reviewed: Dec. 9, 2009
I really didn't care for this. I broiled the tortillas before hand to get them crispy. After everything was on there, it was soggy again. Also, the flavor was really bland. In the end, I sprinkled some taco seasoning on it which made it somewhat better. If I even decide to try and make this again, I will mix some taco seasoning with the refried beans for more flavor.

Tomato Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2009
Wow, this was a great dish! I followed another reviewer's advice and pounded the chicken to about a 1/2" thick. I used mozzarella because that's what I had and placed it on top of the chicken during the last 10 minutes of baking. My boyfriend was already full with 1/2 of his meal left, but he ended up eating the whole thing anyways because it was so good!

Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

This was a great recipe! I couldn't find singles of root beer at my grocery store, so I got a 20 oz. cola instead. I put all of it in and followed the rest of the directions. My boyfriend thought this was a great pulled pork! Thanks!

Sweet Restaurant Slaw

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
Oh man, oh man, oh man!! This slaw is delicious!!! I wanted to try it first, and if it's this good now, I can't wait to eat it again later!! I used fat free mayo instead of Miracle Whip because that's what I had. I also used olive oil instead of vegetable and omitted the poppy seeds because I didn't have any. I only used 3/8 cup of sugar because I like my slaw more on the tangy side. Even at that, I thought it was a tad too sweet for my taste. I added some more vinegar and a bit more mayo to mellow it out. Next time, I will try 1/4 cup sugar and see where that takes me. Even still, I gotta give this recipe 5 stars because it's THAT good! Thanks!

Southwest Stuffed Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
This dish was all right. I wasn't too fond of the breading, and my boyfriend didn't like the green chiles in the chicken. Overall, it's a good dish but not for us.
