Baked Teriyaki Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2001
This recipe is great! I used boneless, skinless chicken breasts and it turned out wonderful. I baked them at 375 for about 40 minutes and they were just right. Might try using the sauce for stir-fry? Great tasting sauce, will definately make again!

Burrito Pie

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2001
I didn't really enjoy this recipe. After reading so many rave reviews I was expecting it to be outstanding and it wasn't. I think it's me and not liking mexican lasagna. My family loved it, goes to show you how much I know. Don't think I'll make it again.

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2001
This cheesecake had great flavor, but I was a little disappointed at the thickness of it. Other cheesecakes I've made are much thicker and look nicer, but it was still a great dessert. Mine cracked, but that has to do with the baker, not necessarily the recipe. Will definately make again!

Mexican Lasagna

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2001
I have to say I didn't really care for this recipe. I've never used lasagna noodles that were not cooked first, and I found them to be very squishy and yucky. I may try this again, but cooking the noodles first in the traditional way. My husband and brother liked it though.

Karen's Baked Banana Stuffed French Toast

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2000
This was really easy to make. It was a nice variation from regular french toast, but I still like the regular kind better. The bananas mashed in the middle gave it a strange texture. By the way, this recipe is from a Bon Appetit magazine.

Mijo's Slow Cooker Shredded Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2000
This meat was really good. It was so tender, it just melted in your mouth! I used only 2 Tb. of hot sauce(I was a little afraid), but it could of used more. I didn't have any liquid smoke, but it still turned out great. I wrapped it in flour tortillas with beans, rice, cheese, and sour cream. Will definately make again!

Chicken Fried Steak I

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2000
Yummy, yummy! This turned out really good. Just be prepared for it to be a little messy! I served it with mashed potatoes, green beans and biscuits. Definately a "home-cooked" meal!

Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff I

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2000
This was excellent! My fiance says its the best stroganoff he has ever had, and he compares my cooking to "mom's" cooking. Very easy and delicious.

Chicken Marsala

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2000
This was good, but not nearly as good as I thought it would be according to all the rave reviews. Definately will make again.

Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2000
yummy and so easy. Just don't add any additonal salt to it. I did and it was a little too much. Added lots of extra garlic and used a pepper and garlic infused olive oil. Mmmm good!

Chocolate Lovers' Favorite Cake

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2000
I have made this cake several times and everyone always loves it! Just don't tell them how much butter it has in it! I even made this once for my mother in laws tea room and she served it as one of her desserts. Very yummy, chocolaty cake.

Overnight Blueberry French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2000
I made this recipe for Mothers Day and everyone really liked it. Making it the night before really makes it easy. The only thing I didn't like was the eggy "clumps" that seemed to form between the bread cubes. Other than that it tasted great!
