Classic Peanut Butter Cookies

This is an excellent recipe although I did follow others suggestions. I increased the flour to 2 3/4 c. and the crunchy peanut butter to 1 1/4 c. Other than that I followed the recipe. I chilled the dough for one hour. Instead of making cookies, I used 2 smaller sheet pans 14" x 10" and spread out the dough. I cooked for approx. 12-13 minutes each but you have to check after 10 minutes. I cut into small size bars. My husbands favorite cookie is peanut butter and he loved them. Thanks alot Shirley, Debra

Chocolate Mayonnaise Cake II

This cake is very moist and so good. My husband said last night as he was enjoying a piece of it, honey this cake is wonderful. This is coming from a man that does not like mayonnaise, he has no idea that it's in the cake. I frosted it with the Whipped Cream Frosting by Linda Garrett, this is for sure a 5 star recipe. Spaghetti Sauce II

I made this sauce for dinner last evening and I have to say, this is by far one of the best spag sauces I have ever made. Being an italian, I always make my own sauce and have tried many different recipes. I decided to try this recipe becauce I wanted to try something new and am I glad I made this. My husband and I loved it. I have to be honest, this sauce taste almost like my grandmas. It taste even better the day after. I will be making this often. Debra

Fluffy Pancakes

This is the BEST recipe for pancakes that I have found after trying lots and lots of different ones. I will look no further for another recipe. I made these this morning for breakfast and my husband agreed that these are the best ones yet. They reminded me of the ones my Mom used to make when I was growing up. I followed the recipe exactly except I tripled it so I would have some left over. LOVE THESE ALOT Debra & Don

Peanut Butter Fudge IV

This fudge is so good and so quick and easy to make. My husband and 20 male co-workers loved it when he brought it into work the other day. I have made this 3 times in the past two weeks for my husband to take to work and he says that is does not last long. Everyone tells him how good it is, best fudge they have ever had. I will make this every year for my husband and friends along with Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge by Kelly Phillips. Thanks to Kelly and Myra, Debra

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

I made this fudge for my husband to take into work the other day and all 20 men loved it. I followed the recipe exactly except I added a little more chopped walnuts. It disappeared in minutes. They all said that it was the best fudge ever, even better than their grandmothers. I don't know about that but it was very good. I will make this every year for my husband along with the Peanut Butter Fudge IV by Myra. The men all love that also and both recipes are so easy and quick to make. For the peanut butter fudge I use Chunky Peanut Butter. Everytone LOVES it.

Grandma's Gingersnap Cookies

Oh my I made these cookies today and my husband loved them. Gingersnaps are his favorite and these were so easy. I baked them for 8-9 minutes. This will be my gingersnap cookie recipe from now on.

Old Fashioned Coconut Cream Pie

I made this twice, first was as the recipe states. The second time was with one 14oz can of coconut milk which is 1 3/4 c. plus 1 1/4 c. half and half to equal the 3 cups. I added 2 eggs and used 1/3 c. cornstarch in place of the flour. I used 1 tsp. coconut extract instead of vanilla. I added 3/4 c. toasted coconut in the pie. I topped the pie with real whipped cream and sprinkled 1/4 c. toasted coconut on top. This pie came out absolutely perfect, tasted wonderful. This is the best coconut cream pie I have ever made. I have to rate this 5 stars with the changes. Debra

G's Flank Steak Marinade

My husband and I have never had flank steak but decided to try it with this marinade. We were both so pleased with how tender it was and the flavor was so good. I did marinade it for two days and used veg oil. We carved it real thin and enjoyed every bite. Thanks Tim!

Raspberry Almond Coffeecake

Orange Turkey Brine

I have brined in the past but this recipe was fantastic this Thanksgiving. I will use this again. The turkey was so moist. I stuffed the turkey with an orange, lemon and an onion. I massaged melted butter all over and salt & peppered inside and out. Go easy on the salt. Make sure you rinse the turkey real well before and after brining. Debra

Blueberry Coffee Cake III

This cake was so good, my husband loved it. I did add alittle more milk almost 3/4 cup. I added 1 tsp vanilla & 1/2 tsp almond extract. I cooked it on 350 for approx. 50 minutes, just keep checking it to make sure you do not overcook it. I used blueberries I had frozen as I pick lots each year. Do not unthaw the berries. I put on a papertowel to absorb the frost if there is some. I then mix them with 1-2 tbsp flour very gently. This really does make a difference when baking with frozen blueberries. I will make this cake from now on. Debra
