Great versatile recipe! Made this for a potluck brunch and it was a hit. Prepped everything the night before, cooked the veggies the night before (thanks to one of the reviewers recommendations blotted the moisture with paper towels) and placed in a baggie for the morning. My husband has a reaction to onions, I substituted with celery, used yellow, orange and red bell pepper instead of green. Used a bagette for the bread and fat free half & half and lowfat cream cheese. Left out the ham but this is so versatile you could use sausage, bacon or any meat you prefer. I am already planning to use this recipe again for Mother's Day.
