Passing on how to make aroz con pollo from daughter to daughter. I had a son and he was so proud of himself when he made it for the first time.

Pea soup, oven ribs, aroz con pollo,pot roast,potato salad,chicken salad,corn fritters (that was a big one).
My cooking tragedies
Too numerous to mention, but I will never make those mistakes again.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
I have used this recipe for years. The only difference is that I dont add water, the soup and juices from the roast are enough for a nice rich gravy. It really is so easy and so good.

The Best Meatloaf I've Ever Made
I am not a meatloaf fan but my husband loves it so decided to try this recipe. A complete and total success. This meatloaf was amazing, my husband could not stop eating it and even I had a few bites. Great flavor. I will be making this again.

Bolognese Sauce
Love this recipe. I made only one change and that was adding 1/2 lb ground veal which means adding a bit more sauce. I have made this a couple times and it is really very good. As the recipe says fresh herbs are definitely better if you have them. I like to keep this on a very low heat for at least an hour or more. Thank you for this great addition to my weekend meal planning.
