Passing on how to make aroz con pollo from daughter to daughter. I had a son and he was so proud of himself when he made it for the first time.
My cooking triumphs
Pea soup, oven ribs, aroz con pollo,pot roast,potato salad,chicken salad,corn fritters (that was a big one).
My cooking tragedies
Too numerous to mention, but I will never make those mistakes again.

Sherry Braised Beef Short Ribs
I would not change a thing about this recipe. The flavor is incredible and it is really so easy to make. I served it with mashed potatoes. Perfect. I asked my husband what he wanted for dinner this weekend and he wanted the same recipe. (not happening there is too much good stuff out there) A keeper.

Pesto Chicken Penne Casserole
This is a keeper. Next time I will add more pesto (home made is the only way to go). That is more for personal taste. My husband had three servings and I had 2. It does make a lot even after I altered the recipe to feed 6 because I like left overs.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
I have used this recipe for years. The only difference is that I dont add water, the soup and juices from the roast are enough for a nice rich gravy. It really is so easy and so good.
