Kyle's Favorite Beef Stew

I make a lot stew over the course of fall and winter. This was the BEST stew I've made or ever tasted! Very thick and flavorful. This was a lot more work than most crock pot meals but well worth the extra time (about an hour if you follow all the steps.) My youngest hates onions so I omitted the fresh onion and the cornstarch-it was plenty thick without.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies from Heaven

Ohh NO! I forgot the peanut butter! Awesome cookies. We are a little high in elevation and always have flat choco-chip cookies. These turned out better than any we've made before and when we made them with the p.b., they were also great! Again, fluffy cookies even with our high altitude. Good name for the recipe!

A Little Bit of Everything

I have tried this marinade a couple of different times with different cuts and cooking variations. Always turns out great! I recently put it in a crock pot with a beef roast and found the meat was tender and the potatoes were loaded with flavor!

Blackberry Cobbler II

This is awesome. Didn't have that many berries so I cut back on the sugar and reduced it some more so it wasn't super sweet. Lots of topping--PERFECTION!

Adel's Red Wine Steak Marinade

My family liked the marinade (4 stars) but loved the suace (5 stars) that the simmered down portion made. I used an inexpensive Burgandy and omitted the coriander to suit my crew's tastes. Will use again!

Marvelous Stuffed Mushrooms

This is a crowd pleaser! I used Portebellini caps and threw in a couple of chopped stems. My other half insists that topping it with bacon crumbles made it perfect. Raw cream skimmed from the top of the milk just made this simply "MARVELOUS!" A new family fave!
