GREAT n Better the 2nd day cold! Changes; used fresh parsley, dill, basil & garlic, chopped fine & mixed together. Used vermouth and juice of half of lemon. Excellent!! Will make this again, REAL soon.

Fig Preserves

Great recipe. If you have time to soak the figs longer, they will plump up nicely. I added ground cloves, nutmeg & cinn. Also used a lime, insted of lemon. Will be making this again n again!

Passover Chocolate Chip Meringues

Adapted ~~ were excellent & easy!! Use less salt ( 1/4 t ), 1 piece of matzo (crumbled) & 1/2 C chopped pecans. After beating egg whites, gradually add sugar n salt, beat till stiff. Fold in rest of ingred. Drop on lined cookie sheets. Bake @ 350 for 10 minutes, turn off oven and leave over night. Pretty n perfect. Enjoy !! Lisa NOLA

Horseradish Deviled Eggs

Great recipe & all enjoyed. Sprinkled Old Bay seasoning on top of egg, then topped w/ 1/2 cherub tomatoe on each w/ a dot of dill weed in center of tomatoe. Very pretty & festive for our Holiday Party! Requested to make again for New Years!!

Apple Butter I

I incorporated the reviews w/ original recipe & this was amazing & so easy !! Filled my (7qt) crock pot w/ chopped apples, 2 c brn & 1 c white sugar, 3 t cinn, 1/2 t cloves, 1/8 t nutmeg 1/8 t allspice 1/8 t ginger a dash of salt & let it cook down, stirring occasionally. Used a stick blender & filled 8 (8oz) canning jars. Process 10 mins in BWB. What a great holiday gift :o)

Salmon Patties I

I have used this basic recipe for years. Try adding fresh dill, parsley & celery. After making patties, cover w/ bread crumbs or crushed ritz crackers, place on wax paper & chill in freezer for at least 1/2 hour, so crumbs adhere before frying or baking.
