Coconut Shrimp I

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2012
Shrimp came out really good. I made it with pre cooked medium shrimp. I did quick freeze for 15mins. Made sure oil was really hot so I wouldn't have to leave in for more than a minute. Shrimp cooked really quick and to keep a good work flow I cut out the middle step of freezing and drop them right into the oil--they turned out really good without freezing!! After the first batch was made I realized they definitely needed seasoning--used season salt--really good! I also recommend to chop up coconut shreds smaller, too big for the size of the shrimp! I tried the dip, flavors were a bit too powerful for my family. I will make again. Thx

Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2012
Really good recipe, I doubled everything. I cut the steaks the long way so they wouldnt be too tough to chew for the kids. Made the gravy as is....great meal. Just be sure to add a little extra seasoning to the flour so the batter isnt just tasting like flour.

Best Tuna Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2011
this is a really good tuna casserole, i added garlic powder to mixture for taste, added milk and nearly 3/4c of sour cream to make it more creamy so it wouldnt be so dry. i also added crispy onions to the top (will leave off next time), added extra cheese!! really good, served with cheese bread and peas on the side

Cheeseburger Crescent Bake

Reviewed: May 24, 2011
Sounded like a great idea for a recipe but I wasn't really impressed. Made it as directions stated minus relish cause I didn't have any... I felt there was something missing but I can't put my finger on it. I did give 3 stars because it does have potential to be better and also because the crescent rolls are such a great tasting food. I would attempt to try again but with modifications for the meat filling.

Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 7, 2011
Very yummy recipe. I used a bag of spinach leaves, didn't include additional mushrooms, took advice of another reviewer and boiled the chicken first and then placed on top spinach and sauce. Also doubled the sauce so we could dip bread with it! Great dinner!

Ten Minute Szechuan Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2011
Really nothing special, the meat lacked flavor (seasoning), I added ginger to it but didn't really give it that "full flavor" however my family ate it up. Will try again but will add season to the meat before coating with cornstarch.

Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
I'd give 10stars if I could. This is the best Alfredo sauce ever. I use to make one with cream cheese but this is SO much better, it's so creamy. I use garlic powder versus clove.... So yummy over a hot bed of any pasta and bread chicken breasts! Olive Garden, watch out!!

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2011
These were really good but i think the meat needs to be seasoned prior to marinade or either included, I also used ranch as a dipping sauce... Will make again

Sloppy Joes II

Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2011
A perfect recipe for a quick and easy dinner, almost time consuming for just "sloppy joes" but trust me it's worth it, way better than the can stuff. 2nd time making it this month and this time it was requested by my 7th old! Made recipe as listed, just added more ketchup and brown sugar so the filling would ooze out the bun! Lol yummy
