Mint Tea Punch

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2010
My daughters and I just made this... took us about ten minutes, followed recipe almost exactly... the only thing we changed was instead of using fresh mint we used a mint tea bag. Could add more or use less of any of these ingredients according to taste, but as it is, we really liked it a lot. Will definitely make again! Thanks!

Green Chile Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 14, 2010
Its very good, but more like a chowder than the green chile chicken we are used to in New Mexico. It is a cream based soup, very heavy and lots of butter. Like I said, very good, but this isn't a light, healthy stew.

Everyone loved these! I minced a can of pineapple tidbits instead of just juice... very good! Super easy to make and kids loved them, thanks!

Two Tier Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
Very good! Everyone in my family loved it! Just a tip: I washed my strawberries right before stirring in and didn't allow them to dry completely; the extra water made the sauce too runny... so make sure your berries are really dry before adding in :)

Green Beans with Hazelnuts and Lemon

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
I didn't measure anything, just eyeballed, and added lots of lemon zest and this is definitely my new fave way of making green beans! Also, our store didn't have hazelnuts so I used sliced almonds. Delish! Thanks!

Awesome! Everyone asked for the recipe:) I mixed everything (except hashbrowns) the day ahead; in the morning I added hashbrowns, transferred to casserole dish and baked for an hour. Easy! Loved it, thanks!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
Love it! Didn't measure anything and substituted some of the cheese, added more pepperoni and omitted salami cause I didn't have it. I'll make it again! No more bland pasta salad! :) Great for lunch the next day!

New York Italian Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
Wonderful, easy recipe! I doubled it and used half bread flour and half wheat. Only refrigerated for 7 hours. Kids had fun rolling it out, very easy to work with. Paired with Chicago Style Deep Dish recipe on this site... highly recommended! Thanks! Will use over and over!

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
Incredible! The sauce was fantastic - could've drained some of the juice/water out of can, but still fantastic. I didn't use frozen dough - used the highest rated dough recipe on this site. Highly recommend incorporating these two. Other change I made was just adding more toppings... pepperoni, ham, artichokes, jalapenos, and crushed red pepper. Wonderful! Thanks so much!

Shredded Beef Chimichangas

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
One of our favorites! All of us go back for more! I cook it differently, though... I put all ingredients (beef, water, broth, vinegar, chili powder, and cumin) in the croc pot in the morning and cook it on low for 8 hours so that it's ready by the end of the day. The meat turns out tender, juicy, wonderful! Thanks for the recipe... we us it all the time!
