Chicken Florentine Casserole

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
I agree with VICSGARDEN... spot on! Really good, just a little dry probably due to first baking step. And I turned the oven down to 350 also, cooking a little bit longer. My family really liked this! Thanks!

Two Tier Strawberry Pie

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
Very good! Everyone in my family loved it! Just a tip: I washed my strawberries right before stirring in and didn't allow them to dry completely; the extra water made the sauce too runny... so make sure your berries are really dry before adding in :)

Garlic Corn on the Cob

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
These were definitely good, but I think fresh garlic and more seasonings would make them better. We cooked ours for 45 minutes, turning once, and they were perfect. Much better than boiling... will make again, but adding to the recipe. Thanks!

Mexicali Beer Margaritas

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
These are really good.... nice change to the regular margaritas that everntually put me to sleep... not these! Ha! A full pitcher gave 4 of us a tall glass and a half, each. Followed another reviewers advice and used 10 oz tequila and 2 oz triple sec. Very good, thanks!

Butter Brickle Frozen Delight

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
This is the easiest dessert I have ever made! Everyone loved it! It is sweet, but definitely not TOO sweet... everyone asked for the recipe and wanted to take some home... make this... you won't be disappointed! I will definitely make it again and keep it on hand for unexpected guests. Thanks!

Cheesy Ham and Hash Brown Casserole

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
Awesome! Everyone asked for the recipe:) I mixed everything (except hashbrowns) the day ahead; in the morning I added hashbrowns, transferred to casserole dish and baked for an hour. Easy! Loved it, thanks!

Antipasto Pasta Salad

Reviewed: May 3, 2010
Love it! Didn't measure anything and substituted some of the cheese, added more pepperoni and omitted salami cause I didn't have it. I'll make it again! No more bland pasta salad! :) Great for lunch the next day!

Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich with Garlic Mayo

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2010
this was not flavorful at all. after making it and being really disappointed, i returned the meat to the skillet with tons of seasoning and made my own chipotle sauce for the buns. i highly recommend "easy bbq flank steak with chipotle mayo" on this site. the meat marinade is incredible and if you're looking for a sandwich, you can put in on bread. this just didn't have any surprise or kick to it. very very bland. sorry.

New York Italian Pizza Dough

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
Wonderful, easy recipe! I doubled it and used half bread flour and half wheat. Only refrigerated for 7 hours. Kids had fun rolling it out, very easy to work with. Paired with Chicago Style Deep Dish recipe on this site... highly recommended! Thanks! Will use over and over!

Chicago-Style Pan Pizza

Reviewed: Apr. 22, 2010
Incredible! The sauce was fantastic - could've drained some of the juice/water out of can, but still fantastic. I didn't use frozen dough - used the highest rated dough recipe on this site. Highly recommend incorporating these two. Other change I made was just adding more toppings... pepperoni, ham, artichokes, jalapenos, and crushed red pepper. Wonderful! Thanks so much!

Shredded Beef Chimichangas

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2010
One of our favorites! All of us go back for more! I cook it differently, though... I put all ingredients (beef, water, broth, vinegar, chili powder, and cumin) in the croc pot in the morning and cook it on low for 8 hours so that it's ready by the end of the day. The meat turns out tender, juicy, wonderful! Thanks for the recipe... we us it all the time!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 16, 2010
Kids and husband loved it, giving this recipe five stars! My one year old ate seconds... very bizarre! I, however, agree with the others that say too much butter. Made it taste a little heavy. If I were rating for myself only, I'd say four stars, but... will definitely make again, substituting butter. This was a big hit, thanks!

Five-Cup Fruit Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
Good, but too sweet for us... un-naturally sweet. It didn't taste healthy or "home made." Next time will use cream cheese. There is a really good fruit dip on this site that uses cream cheese and it would be good incorporated into this recipe somehow. Thanks for sharing, though. The kids liked it!

Sausage and Cornbread Dressing

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2010
Excellent! Didn't have apples, so I used firm pears; omitted celery; reduced to 8 servings and still used a full lb of sausage... wonderful! Will make this again and again! Thanks! Update: made again this year exactly as recipe called for... this is delish! All four kids - ages 2 to 13 - eat it up and ask for more! My husband loves it and he doesn't hesitate to complain! Ha! We love this stuffing! Thanks again!

Lori's Spicy Chipotle Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2010
Wonderful! Whole family loved it - even my one year old! Took forever to make - prep time was more like 2 hours if you simmer and brown everything right. Definitely worth it, though. I will absolutely make again! Thanks!

Pani Popo (Hawaiian Coconut Bread)

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2010
This was okay... the flavor of the "sauce" was good, but didn't like it mixed with bread. Half of us (6) liked it, the other half didn't. I won't make this again. Sorry, but thanks for the recipe.
