To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2013
Delicious! Made as instructed, did not change a thing. I did have a lot of topping, next time I will half that. I filled 8 regular sized muffin tin cups to the top and had enough for a ninth. The topping spilled over a little, that's why I think I will half next time.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 20, 2013
Delicious! Made just as stated and it is a perfect lasagna. I make just the meat sauce a lot for spaghetti dinner. I have used a variety of this recipe for a 'lazy lasagna'- use penne/rotini pasta and layer cooked pasta/sauce, ricotta mixture, parmesan cheese, and mozzarella twice. Bake for 30 minutes until bubbly and cheese is melted.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2011
I think this makes the perfect no-bake cookie. I often omit the cocoa from this recipe for just peanut butter no-bakes and they have always turned out great!

Roast Beef and Gravy

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2011
Delicious! I made it as stated using beef broth and the only change I'll make next time is to use lower sodium soup and broth as it was a bit too salty!

Garlic Chicken Fried Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2011
This was just okay, not as good as I thought it would be. I did read the submitter's review and use Tablespoons not teaspoons of garlic powder and I'm glad I did or it would have been incredibly plain.

Movie Star Popcorn

Reviewed: Mar. 22, 2011
Growing up this is the only way I ever had popcorn at home. I don't think I'll ever eat microwave popcorn again! I did make one small change, I used cannola oil instead of peanut because I didn't have the peanut oil.

A Good Easy Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2011
I made this recipe as stated and it was great! My two year old loved it and even asked for more chicken which never happens! I had very large chicken breasts so I did slice them in half so they would be thinner and cook better, but otherwise it was great as stated.

Puff Balls

YUMMY!!! A quick fix for a doughnut without the work! I coated some in powdered sugar and some in cinnamon sugar. Next time I'll try a glaze. These were soooo easy and delicious!

Creme Brulee French Toast

Reviewed: Feb. 15, 2011
My family and I loved this french toast (even my picky two year old!)! I made some small changes as suggested by other reviewers: I left the crust on the bread (I used italian b/c my store was out of french bread so I did use 6 slices) and I only used 4 eggs. I soaked each piece of bread in egg/half and half mixture for a minute each side and then just poured the leftover mixture over the entire pan. I did not cook butter/brown sugar/corn syrup, I just mixed sugar into melted butter. It seemed a little gritty to me, so next time I will make sure to fully dissolve the brown sugar before I pour it into the pan. After baking I also flipped them over and put them under the broiler for a couple of minutes (I used a metal pan, NOT a glass one) I highly recommend doing this, it seemed to caramelize/thicken the glaze. This tasted great!!

Mashed Potatoes with Fried Mushroom, Bacon, and Onion

Reviewed: Feb. 9, 2011
A very good recipe. It did need some milk as potatoes were a little dry, but other than that I followed recipe as stated.

Chili Cheese Fries

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
The cheese sauce is very bland when made as stated. I even added more cheese and it still wasn't good. I recommend you use a prepared cheese sauce or just plain melted cheese.
