Italian Breaded Pork Chops

Great flavor! Followed the recipe exactly, but double dipped half of the chops to compare. We liked both equally well. I had four 1/2" thick chops which I patted dry before dipping. There was a lot of egg and breadcrumb mix left over, so will make less of both next time.

I think mustard and cream of mushroom just don't mesh so well. Maybe its an acquired taste. It wasn't terrible, but I wont make it again.

My Best Clam Chowder

I added a firm white fish and langostino tails to make this a seafood chowder. I used less butter and half and half and a little less flour. Came out wonderfully!

Golden Yam Brownies

Yummy! Used peeled raw yams. 1/2 cup white 1/2 cup brown sugars. Came out great, but someone said it was kind of like sweet potato corn bread so I guess the amount of sugar I used was too low. I didnt make the icing so that probably would have sweetened them up a bit more. I dont really like yams or sweet potatoes but this is a great way to eat them!

Kiwi Margarita

Tequila + Kiwis = Yum! We doubled the tequila because we like our drinks a little strong! These came out tangy and refreshing. We used less ice due to sensitive teeth and think it came out just fine. As it stands it develops a creamy, frothy top and a delicious liquid underside.

Amazing results from such an easy recipe! I used garlic powder instead of onion and butter instead of margarine. Basting about every ten minutes.

It was good, not amazing. 425 was too hot and it started to burn before it was hot in the center. It's a good recipe, but I'll try something else next time.

Banana Crumb Muffins

Delicious! I made these with 4 bananas and no egg. I also forgot to add the butter to the topping and it came out okay but would certainly be better with the butter. Anyway, even the vegan version of this muffin came out great! I also used 3/4 tsp of cinnamon instead of 1/4.

Stuffed Pattypan Squash

5 stars for flavor 4 stars for the technical difficulties. The outcome was delicious, I just wish there was some way to tell the amount of squash to use by weight or size. I used three fairly large patty pans (about 5 inches across) and ran out of stuffing before the third one was full. Also the prep and cooking times are a bit longer than the recipe indicates. Still the flavor was great and I would make this again!

Not really impressed. This tuna salad was crying out for some celery. The flavor was an interesting change from your usual tuna salads, but I wont be making this again.

Ginger Glazed Mahi Mahi

We thought this was very good and will make it again for sure! I used dried ginger and 2 tbs honey, 1 tbs molasses. I will try making it with fresh ginger next time because it might make it even better.

Yummy Bok Choy Salad

This is a great salad! It's a refreshing break from ordinary lettuce salads. I halved the dressing recipe and only used 1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon of sugar. I added some pieces of orange as well. I forgot to add the green onions, but we didn't miss them. I had no idea baby bok choy could be so tasty! Note: I made this a second time and put the dressing on about an hour before we ended up eating. It was seriously soggy. So dress it just before you're gonna eat it.
