Mom's Favorite Baked Mac and Cheese
I have been making this recipe for at least 3 yrs now, and it has become a family favorite. I have also made it for several church functions and I never bring any home. I took the advice of several and never use the onion. I also eliminate the salt because we feel the cheese is salty enough. I use Velveeta for the American and I don't always buy sharp, sometimes, half sharp and half mild. I guess bread crumbs would look nice, but I don't need any extra calories and I'm not sure my picky grandsons would eat them, so I don't bother. I have also made this the night before I need it, refridgerated it, and adjusted the length of time it baked. An all around good comfort food!

Pig Picking Cake III
I did notice one big difference with the recipe I have used for years, I use 1 can of mandarin oranges plus the juice instead of the water called for on the cake mix box. You still use the eggs and oil. I use French vanilla flavored pudding mix. I have only ever used a 9X13 pan and no nuts. So I will have to try nuts sometime. I have made this recipe for years, but the lady I got it from was from the south and she called it Pea Picking cake. A light and moist dessert that everyone loves!!

Chocolate Meringue Cookies
These cookies were great. I took the advice of others and doubled the cocoa and added 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips. Crispy outside and soft inside.
