Very interesting, I made mine with Turnip & Rutabagas; cheddar, gouda and parmesan cheese. Turned out great. Served it with sour cream and loved the texture. My husband said it had no flavour but I could see the charm in it. Update: I am going to try this with mashed pumpkin next!

Great Job! I didnt use raisins but instead diced dried apricot and prunes and sprinkled on top with slivered almonds and it was AWSOME! I ate two helpings myself!

Maybe our saurkraut was too sour? but this was not great and I wouldnt make it again.

This was a great recipe to start with and then I go and find a way to mess with it! I used 1/4c avocado, 1/4c dates and 1/2c margarine instead of the butter. I used only 1 cup of brown sugar, 1/4c of Nutella and 1/3c cocoa. I used only 1 cup of chocolate chips and everything else was the same. I thought they were very cake-like when baked at 350 for about 14 min so I bumped it up to 400 for 10 min and flattened them with a sugared fork. This turned out better, but I think they actually had TOO many chocolate chips! I would rather have added more hazelnuts and used white chocolate chips instead. It could do a really nice muffin recipe with some zucchini to lighten it up a bit!

I was out of time for my usual recipe in the bread machine and then found this one. I let the dough sit in a greased bowl for about 1/2hr until my toppings were ready and it was easy to work with. I usually roll out my dough for the cookie sheet but this was very pliable and could be stretched by hand. Definately going to make this again!

Seemed like it was missing something. I tried a bit of sugar, not quite but better. Tried ground peanuts, still not it. I'm looking for something more in the dressing but I dont know what it is.

I had never made homemade popcorn before, I grew up on air popped or microwave bags. This was so simple and easy and really yummy I ate the whole lot of it! 1/2 cup of kernels makes about 12cups of popped corn so you need a big pot! I will be trying the brown sugar next time and I did throw in a 1/4 teaspoon of salt with the sugar to get that sweet & salty taste. I wonder if you could add a bit of butter to the oil for flavor as well?
