Allrecipes - Just a heads up. I could only fine a couple recipes for salads made with glass noodles (cellophane noodles, mung bean noodles). One of the recipes wasn't very popular, and the other recipe didn't appear to be an Asian-inspired recipe. I do know I had an excellent salad made with glass noodles many years ago (before the internet went mainstream). It would be nice to see such a salad (a popular one with very detailed instructions for the non-Asian cook who is ignorant about how to work with glass noodles) on ALLRECIPES. Also, today when I was at the health-food store I noticed a new product: mung bean fettuccine. There were also different pastas made from black beans, red beans, and chickpeas. I am not surprised there are few recipes for them. I have never seen them before. Certainly, I do know that I can adapt a regular recipe for fettuccine to my mung-bean version; however, most of them have cheese (which I don't eat due to food intolerances) which is why I like the Asian-inspired recipes. Thank you for your consideration.

I could not find a recipe on ALLRECIPES for making Gomasio (Japanese Sesame Seed Condiment. It is a great "salad dressing" option for people on low-fat diets.

About Me
Allrecipes.com is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, Allrecipes.com is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at m.allrecipes.com.
