Awesome! I'll definitely be getting the Magazine :) I just subscribed (2 weeks ago) to Better Homes and Gardens so I can't wait to see my sneak peak! Hmm forgot about the 6 week waiting time. Hope I got it early enough.

Yay!!

Feb. 22, 2013 7:16 pm
How interesting, looking forward to it!

Feb. 22, 2013 7:25 pm
Sounds Great! Is it crass of me to ask how much a Sub will cost? I don't get mags any more but I can always be swayed into something that has been So wonderfully pleasurable and get a hard copy of.

Feb. 22, 2013 7:46 pm
Looking forward to seeing what it is all about!

Will there be an online version? I don't want magazines that are paper copies.

Feb. 23, 2013 3:48 am
Fantastic, now your ad folks can be creative in designing paper pop-up ads covering the magazine’s content . . . so much for the paperless society and saving the trees.

Feb. 25, 2013 6:46 am
I'm looking forward to it. The last attempt at an Allrecipes magazine had recipes but nothing about the Allrecipes community. And while I am green, not everything I read, I read online or on a device. It's nice to have an actual magazine or newspaper or book to hold onto. Thanks

Feb. 25, 2013 4:34 pm
Thanks so much for all of your feedback! In terms of cost, it's $12 for a year, but if you sign up now, you get a second year free :) @Sueb - I will look into if there is an online version available. Thanks again!

Just called their customer service line. First issue is due out to homes by July 1. If you do not receive it by that time call them. 800-837-9017.

Nice to know I'm not the only one wondering when my magazine will arrive. Allrecipes should have made it clear to all early subscribers that the first issue won't be until June. It would have prevented a lot of emails. That's why I don't usually pay for a subscription until after I receive the first issue, which I didn't do this time.

Jun. 3, 2013 3:41 pm
I sent in my subscription (online) on March 9th and I haven't heard one word since then. When do you plan to publish the magazine??

melissa anne
Jun. 5, 2013 6:50 pm
I was excited about this magazine as this website is my go to for family friendly recipes but I'm very disappointed that after paying online several months ago, I have not received my first issue. If there was a delay in publication or delivery, all subscribers should have been sent emails or letters informing us of this problem. There certainly was no delay in taking my money for the subscription. A little courtesy goes a long way in finding and keeping customers.

I paid for subscription in February and check was cashed months ago. I see numerous posts from others in the same boat. I hope this offer isn't a scam but will wait to see if any positive results in a few weeks.

Glad I checked this site and saw all the postings. I paid on 3/22/13 and will definitely be calling the number posted above (800-837-9017) on July 2 if magazine is not received. Thanks for the info.

Glad to see I'm not alone in paying for my subscription on April 15 with the check clearing the bank a few days later but still no magazine. What gives! Seems customer service would at least notify those us who are waiting with a notice of when or if we will be getting our magazine. Those who posted before at least clued me in to a phone number which I will be using, thanks.

My father and I both paid for a year subscription and after over a month we sent an email asking what was up they told us it was coming soon and a month later we both received one magazine and now almost 2 months later NOTHING. Not happy with the magazine subscription but this is my favorite food site.

I had thought to subscribe for the 2 year deal after reading the premier issue that arrived at my home today. Now, reading all the negative info above I am afraid to subscribe. Love the magazine and its whole concept but hate the idea of having to lose $$'s and time trying to get a copy delivered to me. Has this problem been solved now, it being Aug. 15?

Paet
Aug. 16, 2013 11:44 am
Just went to the "subscribe" section that is listed above. Two years is $18.00. The Free-Year RSVP I received with the premier issue lists it as $12 for 2 years and if you go to armagazine.com/freeyear you save and extra $1. Tried to find that on the web and could not find it - hasd to put in "allrecipemagazine.com/freeyear and finally pulled up this page. And then the price of $18 for 2 years. Come on guys - get your stories together, You have a great magazine but your subscription department leaves a lot to be desired. Get your act together!!!!

Aug. 16, 2013 10:14 pm
was going to purchase a subscription, but I could not fine the site advertised in the free copy I was sent, now reading all the bad comments here, I am not believing the easy as 1,2,3 steps they advertise. I think I will keep my money, I do not think they have their _____ together and it sounds like people are being ripped off here. Sorry to those that put money out there with no magazine in sight and nobody response from this company to let them know anything about what's going on!

Aug. 21, 2013 10:37 am
I just received my letter yesterday, Aug 20, 2013. States to reply by 9/9/13.. Ladies, I called the company direct, 1-800-837-9017 and spoke to the magazine customer service. They do not have any information regarding this as the marketing company evidently did not share this information. The lady I spoke with was very kind and did accept my order, as there was not any place to order on line for the $11.00 amount for the two year period. Again, she knew nothing about this price discount. She advised me my next issue would come in October or there about. The next one in January with issues every two month. Allrecipe is a good company and they are standing behind this offer I got in the mail. Why don't you all call the number I listed and voice your concerns. I am a member of the Allrecipes online site and have never had a problem with anything, and when I did, they resolved the issue. Carolyn B

Excuse the #10's at the bottom of my previous post and let me say Ladies and Gentlemen. I did not see his post. Don't give up, just call the number and let this company straighten out the mess the marketing company created. It is a great magazine and company.. Wish I were young enough to work for them. Yeah, I got the offer as well. I went to the website for the dollar off two years, entered all my info, clicked "subscribe" and then got an error message saying my payment type was not valid for my region. Interesting... will be calling customer service tomorrow!

I received my 1st magazine at the end of June. If the magazine is every two months then why is it September and I haven't received anything else. I made almost all main dishes in the magazines and my family loved it but nothing since. I'm sad I need more ideas. It had fall recipes which is great but they told me every two months I called customer service and was on hold for ever. Hung up :(

The issues I receive are so infrequent I forget what was in them! Will not renew my subscription. Word of advice, stick with the on line website and forget the magazine.

Sep. 29, 2013 6:29 am
Has anyone received a 2nd issue yet? I did receive the 1st issue at the end of June but nothing since. I noticed in small print at the bottom of the subscribe page that some issues would be considered double issues. What's with that? I loved the 1st issue but I'm not happy that the 2nd issue hasn't arrived and there's no word as to when to expect it.

Sep. 29, 2013 8:15 am
I paid for this magazine in July, check cleared and NO magazine yet!!! I have contacted customer service and NO response after4 days!!!! NOT HAPPY! Yes address and name and allthat is correct.

I got one in June then I called and said you'll get one in Oct. stupid I don't think they have there straight.

I sent for a subscription back in April. I received an issue in June. This is now October and have received nothing since. I called and was told my next issue would be in December. Something is messed up here. I thought this was an every other month subscription.

I subscribed in April and only got one issue in June. If it's 6 issues/yr., I should have 2 more by now. What's going on? I don't like paying for something I'm not getting. I sent an email last week and still don't have a response. I Won't be subscribing again.

Paid for my subscription at the end of June, it's October, still haven't received a magazine. It's so disappointing to hear so many complaints about the subscription. I wish I would of these reviews before I paid for it!

I got the first issue in June. Since it's bimonthly I should have received the second issue in September. I did not. What has happened?! When is next issue out?

I contacted the subscription service. I got a response today that there will be the premier issue and a December issue for 2013 with six issues coming in 2014. The "late date" for the December issue is December 1.

Oct. 24, 2013 1:32 pm
What a hokey thing to do, advertise it then not send it out until the Dec/Jan issue? I paid for a 2 yr subscription back in August. Not pleased on the way they do business.

Oct. 25, 2013 4:12 pm
Very disappointed!!! This no way to manage expectations! I too paid up front the day I got the sample in the mail in July. No follow up. No notice of a schedule. No NOTHING!!! If you are on the fence just wait till actually start publishing. As of right now I have my doubts. Is this a con? It is starting to appear so.

Well, hey, just add me to the list! One magazine in June and then--- crickets!!! What gives, Allrecipes. We all paid for two years! That is 12 issues! So you send out two in 2013 and 6 in 2014? You owe us 4 magazines!

Oct. 31, 2013 8:05 am
I loved my first magazine, BUT no more like everyone else. I got a subscription for me and my mother. Now I want my magazines. Why aren't we getting any answers? I am real frustrated here.

Nov. 2, 2013 11:06 am
I am also VERY DISAPPOINTED with the MISLEADING SUBSCRIPTION & SERVICE for this magazine. I subscribed early this summer and have received ONLY the AUGUST issue and NOTHING since??? So then we're told we have to wait for a Dec/Jan "combined" issue, out by Nov. 1? Well, it's Nov. 2 today and I haven't gotten it yet. If you ADVERTISE 6 ISSUES per year, that means BI-MONTHLY issues. At least 5 issues, even if the Holiday Dec/Jan is combined. What happened to October or November?? Hello, Thanksgiving ?? I'm going to cancel my subscription and go back to Taste of Home and Southern Living, never a problem with them. Very sad, because the ONE issue I got was a GOOD issue.

Nov. 3, 2013 6:36 am
This is very poor Customer Service. Paying back in early 2013 and to receive only one magazine is pathetic at best. Good Customer Service would have alerted your Customers who paid for their subscriptions that you all do not have your act together yet and to please be patient as you worked out your glitches. A free year for all who posted would be the right thing to do. Maybe one magazine a year????? Think hard about good Customer Service.

I am like the rest of you I recieved one issue and am wondering where is the next one. I sent an email last week asking what's up where is my magazines?? I to really liked the recipes. I do wish the calorie count would come with a serving size. hope they can get there act together.

Nov. 4, 2013 3:39 pm
Sent my check in August. Just called the 800 number and was told I should be receiving December issue in about 2 weeks. I was told that I have a two year subscription....6 issues a year....guess my first year begins in 2014????

Nov. 5, 2013 3:26 pm
Well, I will be the first to say that I have finally received my second issue. Like many of you I have only received one issue prior to this, and that was the November one. This one says it's the December/January issue. Okay, but, what about the time period between the August one, and now? Everyone should have received a magazine between that time period, too, right? I figured, okay well, maybe this issue will just be a really big magazine or something- to make up for that huge missing gap. NOPE! Same exact size as the first one. I'm really just not understanding the strategy here, and if I'm going to really be getting what I paid for here. Uhhg. As long as I get my twelve magazines that I signed up for, I guess it doesn't really matter what time frame they come in.

Nov. 5, 2013 3:27 pm
Excuse me, my first issue was the August one. Let me Not make this anymore confusing for everyone haha.

Nov. 6, 2013 2:42 pm
WOOOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!!! Just got the December issue and it is Beautiful!! I thought it would take another week or two, guess it is early. I bet some cranky pants above are going to just fall in love like me. I made the sweet potato latkas, those were great suggestion.

Nov. 8, 2013 9:46 pm
Glad to see SOMEONE got the DECEMBER ISSUE ... but no, it is NOT out "early". In fact I saw it ON SALE in 3 local stores here THIS WEEK. 2 grocery stores and a discount store. WHY don't paid subscribers have THEIR ISSUES YET ?? Also, when I called CS last week, I was told there WAS NO OCTOBER ISSUE. Thanks for letting us all know that !!! TERRIBLE customer service and misleading subscription info. AR will be getting lots more cancellations with such poor service.

Nov. 25, 2013 11:22 pm
I just emailed customer service because I thought I missed an issue between August and December. I then came to this site and realized I wasn't alone. Going forward, I expect my next issue in January (February/march issue) and a total of 12 issues before my subscription ends.

Dec. 2, 2013 2:35 pm
Today is December 2, and I STILL have NOT received MY December issue!! I have called CS twice, emailed them multiple times and was told the Dec. issue was not considered "late" as of a week ago.??? Meanwhile, it's been out for sale in at least a dozen stores here locally (most since early Nov.) It irritates me even MORE every time I see it displayed ... so, WHERE is MY DECEMBER ISSUE ?????

kedi
Dec. 6, 2013 2:28 pm
Was there an issue between August and December/January issue. If not, it doesn't seem there will be six magazines that I paid for. (6 issues per year). There does seem to be a problem. What is the answer?????

The December issue with pretty holiday cookies looks fantastic. Too bad I've only seen it in advertizements not in my home!!! Thought that's what subscribing to a magazine meant... I'd get it delivered to my home and on time!!!! Emailed customer service and am still waiting for my response I was to get in 48 hours. Guess allrecipes uses a different clock/calendar than the rest of the world.

I was so excited to get the magazine because the recipes I get on email are so good. Very disappointed with the magazine. There are very few recipes in the magazine I would want to make

About Me
Allrecipes.com is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, Allrecipes.com is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at m.allrecipes.com.
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything! Allrecipes community is an amazing resource for discovering all types of dishes and treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of them! How could anyone choose? All year long our community is cooking and celebrating seasonal holidays and special family occasions. Even the dinners we all have to get on the table every night can be a cherished tradition—or will seem so once the kids are grown.
My cooking triumphs
The millions of recipe choices, the tips and advice, the support and encouragement to try new things or rediscover old favorites make using this site a constant joy.
My cooking tragedies
Who doesn’t have these? Too many to tell really, but from each disaster there’s something to learn and laugh about. Cooking is meant to be an adventure!
