Happy Friday again, Allrecipeeps!

Hope you all stayed dry and warm this week! It was snowing hard here in Seattle this week, which led to a lot of warm comfort cooking here!

Here is what you were cooking up this week:
The most popular new recipe was Slow Cooker Mexican Chicken and Rice with1,175 page views, 37 prints and 80 saves! Creamy Hot Cocoa had the biggest surge in page views, increasing by 18,209 week over week and Seven Layer Taco Dip had the biggest surge in both prints (755) and saves (797) week over week.  Expect to see more seven layer taco dip in the coming weeks, as it’s one of the most popular Super Bowl recipes!

AR's blog format is fun huh, lol!

Maybe it's time (FINALLY) to get their blog modernized and usable. I won't try to do a blog here until I can do it here without using an outside source first and then transfer. That's what we are paying for!

Preach it Marianne!!!!Agree!!!!!

I want to believe that if AR - like Marianne says - modernized the blog function more people would go blue.

I bet they would, too, bd!

It's not easy being blue without bringing on the blogging blues, is it? (ok, shoot me now, but I just couldn't resist the alliteration)

About Me is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything! Allrecipes community is an amazing resource for discovering all types of dishes and treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of them! How could anyone choose? All year long our community is cooking and celebrating seasonal holidays and special family occasions. Even the dinners we all have to get on the table every night can be a cherished tradition—or will seem so once the kids are grown.
My cooking triumphs
The millions of recipe choices, the tips and advice, the support and encouragement to try new things or rediscover old favorites make using this site a constant joy.
My cooking tragedies
Who doesn’t have these? Too many to tell really, but from each disaster there’s something to learn and laugh about. Cooking is meant to be an adventure!
