Hi Allrecipeeps!

Happy almost Thanksgiving!

We are onto Round 4 of our photo contest! For those of you new to the contest here are the details:
Here is how it works: every two weeks, we will post a list of 50 recipes that need photos. For every photo you submit of one of the below recipes, your name will go into a drawing. After the end of the two weeks, we will draw a winner for a 2 year Supporting Membership. Already a Supporting Member? Get two years tacked on - or, we will send you one of our cookbooks and some more shopping bags (you can decide!). Who knows? You might even find some new favorites! Feel free to review these, too!

The winner of Round 3's contest is... Niroszyckame

So... Rounds 2 and 3 had some leftover recipes - for EACH photo taken of one of these recipes, your name is going in the drawing twice! :)

Here's the list of leftovers:
And here are your 13 new recipes :)

Thanks to everyone who participated so far and I can't wait to see your photos! Happy Thanksgiving!!

Nicole, each list is supposed to be up for two weeks. Seems the next round should have begun by now, but there hasn't been a new list or a winner from this one.

Well shoot Pam! I braved the cold and went out to my little gas station of a store today and paid premium prices just to make a few of these things off of here. I was just tickled pink that they had some of the ingredients. When I say "gas station" I mean it. It is a glorifed gas station that never carries things such as cilantro or anything like that. You are lucky to get milk, potatoes, and celery. NO joke! The thing that had me laughing all afternoon is that they didn't have a bell pepper but they had egg roll wrappers, Clamato, and Panco breadcrumbs? LOL!

When is the deadline for photos? This says Happy Thanksgiving at the top. Also, is anyone out there to answer a question? I'm making Eggplant parmesian and need to know if I'm supposed to peel the eggplant. Thanks! Diane

About Me is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything! Allrecipes community is an amazing resource for discovering all types of dishes and treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of them! How could anyone choose? All year long our community is cooking and celebrating seasonal holidays and special family occasions. Even the dinners we all have to get on the table every night can be a cherished tradition—or will seem so once the kids are grown.
My cooking triumphs
The millions of recipe choices, the tips and advice, the support and encouragement to try new things or rediscover old favorites make using this site a constant joy.
My cooking tragedies
Who doesn’t have these? Too many to tell really, but from each disaster there’s something to learn and laugh about. Cooking is meant to be an adventure!
