Last week’s most popular new recipe is Perfect Chicken. Way to go Faith!

This week’s issue begins with the delicious Gorgonzola Stuffed Chicken Breasts Wrapped in Bacon. Freshly chopped parsley and minced shallots compliment the Gorgonzola cheese stuffing in these chicken breasts which are then wrapped in delicious, delicious bacon. If beef sounds better, try an oldie but goodie. Strips of round steak are simmered with vegetables in beef broth until tender, then served with freshly boiled dumplings in Steak and Dumplings.

In honor of Veterans Day we present several recipes with origins in the US Navy. Roasted Turkey, Navy Style was created by a sailor stationed overseas when Thanksgiving rolled around. Navy Potatoes are crispy, butter-baked wedges that were served aboard the USS New York during WWII. How about a little comfort food, US Navy-style? Easy Pleasy Mac N Cheesy -  US Navy Style aims to recreate the best mac and cheese served on the high seas - onboard the USS Enterprise.

There’s always that one guy on ship selling something or other to his shipmates and noting the transactions down in a secret notebook. Easy Money Breakfast Burritos were invented for just one such entrepreneurial venture. Are you in or out?

About Me is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at
