For those of us who love our Kindle, is there any plan to make your recipes available for download to Kindle. I think Kindle is a more convenient option to have in the kitchen. Can you tell I'm partial? haha Please take a look. thanks

please let us know when you develop an ANDROID-operating system app! Though it has a smaller base, it is bound to go up leaps and bounds---yours will be invaluable!

Android actually has a larger base than iOS now, so I hop they decide to make an app for the android market soon.

My "iPad" friend showed me the app. It is very sweet. I have an Android tablet. I still have to use :-( Where is the love?

No Android app?? Really? I am surprised... Please fix this ASAP, like tell us it is at least in development right now...

The Ipad app is almost cannot log on to your AllRecipes account unless you are a "preferred" paying member and have upgraded to "PRO" on the Ipad. You cannot save any recipes without paying either. It's actually easier to use Safari on your Ipad and go to the Allrecipes website to find what you want.

I have a Pro account and I'm surprised that there's no Android tablet version. I have been searching the Android Market all morning; first for an app and then for an alternative. I finally settled on BigOven's app. It seems to well designed with a good selection of recipes. Today's market is increasingly driven by smartphones and tablets and mobile access for all major platforms is something that a company overlooks to their own detriment. I prefer to stay with AllRecipes so I hope that this is something that they are already addressing. If so, an announcment, or a response to this thread would be nice. Best regards, Danielle Bourgeois Houston, TX

About Me is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything! Allrecipes community is an amazing resource for discovering all types of dishes and treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of them! How could anyone choose? All year long our community is cooking and celebrating seasonal holidays and special family occasions. Even the dinners we all have to get on the table every night can be a cherished tradition—or will seem so once the kids are grown.
My cooking triumphs
The millions of recipe choices, the tips and advice, the support and encouragement to try new things or rediscover old favorites make using this site a constant joy.
My cooking tragedies
Who doesn’t have these? Too many to tell really, but from each disaster there’s something to learn and laugh about. Cooking is meant to be an adventure!
