The most popular new recipe published last week is Beef and Bow Ties Pasta. Congratulations, VVMYRSS!

Beat the heat with this week’s newest recipes! Best Watermelon Slushie is an icy blend of watermelon and cantaloupe  pureed with orange juice and mint - a delicious way to keep cool. Blackberry with Red Wine Sorbet is a simple yet elegant, 4-ingredient dessert. See if you can pronounce this: Limeabalemon Glaciate. An icy puree of banana, lime and lemon juice is garnished with shredded coconut and fresh cherries in this glacial refresher!

Other recipes just right for summer include Asparagus with Lime and Ginger, a different take on asparagus with lime, cilantro, and fresh ginger. A tasty side dish awaits when you make Vegetarian Purple Potatoes with Onions and Mushrooms. Red pepper flakes, capers, and fresh tarragon flavor these colorful potatoes. Everybody loves tilapia, and Nadine's Delicious Tilapia is a family-pleasing recipe even the kids can make. There’s nothing quite like a salad fresh from the garden or farmers’ market. Sweet n' Sour Salad Dressing is a delectable blend of balsamic vinegar, rice vinegar, and lemon juice - just the thing to jazz up those crisp veggies!

That Fizzy Lifting Drink is GENIUS! I don't even drink alcohol and I am making it.

I made the Ranch Dressing with fresh herbs. My family was "SHOCKED" that ranch dressing doesn't only come from a pouch. LOL, it was funny to see the look on their faces, but now I've done it.. they want only fresh dressing from now on. Hahahaha. Thank goodness for my Cuisinart. Awesome recipe.

Hey thanks for publishing my recipe! Glad you liked it QP! I once had fresh ranch dressing in a little place in the Russian River Valley in California. My husband and I raved about it for months. I've been working on that formulation for a long time. ONce you have fresh, it's official.. YOU ARE SPOILED. There are a ton of great sounding recipes.. can't wait to check them out!

About Me
Allrecipes.com is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, Allrecipes.com is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at m.allrecipes.com.
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything! Allrecipes community is an amazing resource for discovering all types of dishes and treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of them! How could anyone choose? All year long our community is cooking and celebrating seasonal holidays and special family occasions. Even the dinners we all have to get on the table every night can be a cherished tradition—or will seem so once the kids are grown.
My cooking triumphs
The millions of recipe choices, the tips and advice, the support and encouragement to try new things or rediscover old favorites make using this site a constant joy.
My cooking tragedies
Who doesn’t have these? Too many to tell really, but from each disaster there’s something to learn and laugh about. Cooking is meant to be an adventure!
