Last week’s most popular new user recipe is Watermelon Lemonade. Way to go docswife!

We have a bunch of summer recipes for you this week, including special selections for this weekend’s Independence Day celebration. Razzy Blue Smoothie adds a little flax and oat to a delicious fruit smoothie of bananas, blueberries, and raspberry yogurt. Patriotic French Toast stuffs two French toast slices with raspberries, blueberries, and cream cheese. Cool down with Mango Tango Sorbet , a refreshing summer sorbet of mango puree, lime juice, and tangerine juice. The classic salad combination of cucumber and tomatoes gets a the gourmet treatment in Cooler Than A Cucumber Salad. Striped pieces of cucumber and heirloom tomatoes are tossed in a tan-colored vinaigrette of champagne vinegar, balsamic vinegar, and agave nectar for a versatile salad.

---> And, I really like your new TAB, "Diabetic Friendly"... I have left a comment or two there, and already made your featured photo on that page for "Health Nut Blueberry Muffins"... I made them with whole wheat pastry flour, Splenda Half-and-Half (half Splenda, half regular sugar; might use all Splenda next time), instead of raisins I used fresh blueberries (which I carefully added to the dry ingredients, after cutting in the butter), and because I did not have wheat germ, I substituted 3 Tbsp. organic Flax Flour! DH loved them. Will use that "Diabetic Friendly" site again and again, and noticed it was originally from Reader's Digest! Great new feature! tyvm
