Hi Allrecipeeps!

Happy Thursday! We are SO excited to announce to you that we have launched Allrecipes.tv - our new video site!

Here you will find hands on How-To videos that can make something that seems intimidating (or did to me) like cutting up a whole chicken seem doable! Check out the videos - I sure learned a few things. :) There will be more to come - so stay tuned!

Allrecipes.tv is also introducing something brand new - 'Allrecipes What's Cooking'. This will be a new series of webisodes *starring* members of our very own Allrecipes.com community! Check out a sneak preview of the first video, and our Seattle star: Chefbound.  She'll be cooking up one of her fave dishes, and showing Michael how to make it for his family. Allrecipes What's Cooking webisodes will be premiering soon at a computer near you, so be on the lookout!

Wonder where we got the idea? You guys! MichelleJ started the travels of Chef Tony, a statue of a chef (or a mini-chef) who traveled all over the country, meeting members of our community, who shared their cooking adventures. Chef Tony had to retire, and the travels of Chef Luigi (organized by another Allrecipes.com member, Celeste), Chef Tony's little brother, has picked up where he left off - even making it as far as New Zealand (so far!)! He'll be traveling and meeting more Allrecipes.com members, so keep your eye on his blog too!

Interested in being a part of Allrecipes.tv? Email Video@Allrecipes.com, and let us know!

Check out Allrecipes.tv - we can't wait to hear what you think!

About Me
Allrecipes.com is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, Allrecipes.com is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Allrecipes.com Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at m.allrecipes.com.
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything! Allrecipes community is an amazing resource for discovering all types of dishes and treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of them! How could anyone choose? All year long our community is cooking and celebrating seasonal holidays and special family occasions. Even the dinners we all have to get on the table every night can be a cherished tradition—or will seem so once the kids are grown.
My cooking triumphs
The millions of recipe choices, the tips and advice, the support and encouragement to try new things or rediscover old favorites make using this site a constant joy.
My cooking tragedies
Who doesn’t have these? Too many to tell really, but from each disaster there’s something to learn and laugh about. Cooking is meant to be an adventure!
