Hey there Allrecipeeps!

This week’s most popular new user recipe is Donut Muffins.

Way to go Dianne!

Just in time for the Memorial Day weekend comes Zippy Barbecue Sauce, a simple and addictive barbeque sauce its creator can’t make enough of. Whiskey Mojo Marinade is another good one to keep around. The Caribbean combo of citrus juice and garlic is given a good slug of Kentucky whiskey in this version. Sticking with a tropical theme, we have Tropical Quinoa, a savory side dish studded with roasted macadamia nuts, dried fruits, and two kinds of sweet chutney. The sweet might also cut the heat of Spicy Chipotle Grilled Shrimp.

Which one will you try this weekend? I am thinking I'll try Sue Bee's  Spicy Chipotle Grilled Shrimp!

Happy Memorial Day weekend everyone!

What's up with all the Aussie and New Zealand stuff all of a sudden? Not that there is anything wrong with that. =8^-)

I've been unsucessfully looking for a cajun sweet potato salad recipe. Anyone have one to share. It has onions, peppers and sweet potatoes in a sweet oil/vinegar sauce.

About Me is the world’s largest food site created entirely from contributions from talented home cooks. Allrecipes was first introduced in 1997 by five college students who loved cookies and had the early vision the web would be a fantastic place for people to find and share everyday food ideas. Twelve years later, is home to an amazing community where millions of recipes, reviews, ratings, photos, and blog postings spanning all types of ingredients, dish types, occasions and cooking styles are viewed and shared daily. Allrecipes grows every day as the community continues to share new ideas and experiences. Along with the original site, Allrecipes now has communities for home cooks in Australia/NZ, China, France, Germany, and the UK/Ireland. (Check them out! You’ll find links at the very bottom of this page.) For cooks on the go, Allrecipes is available free on the iPhone via the Dinner Spinner app, and web enabled phones at
