We’re home! On Wednesday, Allrecipes’ Farmers’ Market tour arrives in Washington State. We’ll pitch our tent at the downtown Kirkland Wednesday Market (25 Lakeshore Drive) in a lovely park right next to Lake Washington. Along with handing out recipe cards with delicious summer recipes for yummy seasonal produce, we’ll welcome fans and talk about our site’s terrific resources for home cooks and hungry families. This is Judith D. saying, “Stop by! We’d love to meet you."

Wednesday August 19th - Kirkland Wednesday Market (Seattle)2PM to 7PM
Last week Saturday, Allrecipes’ booth was in the other Washington. At Eastern Market in Washington, D.C., to be exact. We met plenty of enthusiastic home cooks at the all-day market who were on a quest for farm fresh veggies and fruits, and we talked to dozens of shoppers about Allrecipes. It’s always exciting to meet our community members live. You make Allrecipes great! We're Number One of all food sites!
The seed pack-style recipe cards were a big attraction in D.C., along with icy Snapple teas, which hit the spot on a warm August afternoon. For scenes from the market, check out the photos below.
We know plenty of places to visit if we do another farmers’ market tour. So many email requests! If we missed your town or city this summer, leave a comment and let us know. And also tell us what your favorite summer recipe is. Have you discovered a new recipe this year? One you're making three times a week?! Share, share!

Color us hot and happy! Despite 80 degree temps, we had a terrific time yesterday at the Kirkland market. Lots of you Allrecipes fans out there! We handed out bright orange shopping bags and oodles of seed/recipe packes. A big success! Watch here for more details and pictures.

today i made my 'zucchini bread' that i haven't made in years. it is the best i have ever had. it is also the same recipe that i won a 'blue ribbon' with in 1988. today i looked at a recipe posted by 'Kristen' for her recipe of 'zucchini bread'. it is the 'same' recipe i used in 1988 so she is 'very right' about the taste!
