Hi everyone!
It’s me, Elizabeth, your Consumer Relations Manager J
I wanted to let you know that we’ll be working on some site maintenance tonight, beginning at 9PM Pacific time, 12AM Eastern time. Maintenance will take 2-3 hours. While we are doing maintenance, you will not be able to:
  • Log in or out
  • Upgrade to Supporting Membership
  • Post a comment or question on the Recipe Exchange
  • Upload a photo
  • Save a recipe
  • Post a review or Blog
You will still be able to search for, and find recipes.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thanks so much in advance for your patience! I’ll post on the exchange and blog once the maintenance is complete.
Thanks again – and talk to you soon!

Maybe, just maybe I can get my beauty sleep (not that it's really neccessary of course). Thanks Elizabeth.

Does this maintenance include not being able to view saved recipes in our recipe box? Because I can't see any of the hundreds of saved recipes. My recipe box looks empty. Am panicking slightly!

Is there anything NEW we should be aware of?

I have only yesterday discovered the blogging that goes on. I've been a member for ages. A good friend of mine in America, also a member didn't know either. Enjoyed reading some of the archives. I wonder how many other members don't know about the blog sites?

About Me
Calling all cooks. All kitchen shakers, biscuit bakers and casserole makers. Calling all cooks in search of the next incredible dish or 15 minute meal. Calling all adventurous and everyday cooks. all vegetarians and gluten-free cooks. Everyone who's ever scrambled, sauteed, substituted or started from scratch. Calling all cooks in every home kitchen- your meals bring us together and your food makes the world go round. Which is why we created the first social community for the cooks, by the cooks. A place that inspires home cooking, celebrates the food you make and lets you share your successes with your friends, family and followers.
My favorite things to cook
Everything and anything! Allrecipes community is an amazing resource for discovering all types of dishes and treats
My favorite family cooking traditions
All of them! How could anyone choose? All year long our community is cooking and celebrating seasonal holidays and special family occasions. Even the dinners we all have to get on the table every night can be a cherished tradition—or will seem so once the kids are grown.
My cooking triumphs
The millions of recipe choices, the tips and advice, the support and encouragement to try new things or rediscover old favorites make using this site a constant joy.
My cooking tragedies
Who doesn’t have these? Too many to tell really, but from each disaster there’s something to learn and laugh about. Cooking is meant to be an adventure!
