My husband and I have been married 5 years and have many animals. I guess it's my substitution for not having kids yet. Our 3 ferets are fun entertainment, our 2 cats are okay for cuddling and the dog keeps me active.
My favorite things to cook
We love spicy and pasta. I like to have easy casserole recipies on hand for when we have a bunch of family staying over, so I can make everything ahead of time and not cook for the whole weekend
My favorite family cooking traditions
Cheese fondue, we had this for every birthday, anniversary and holiday growing up. All of us grand kids have tried matching our grandpa's fondue, but only he had the special touch we all loved
My cooking triumphs
My triumph is that I'm actually cooking every night! Growing up in a house where we had popcorn x3 a week of dinner, I'm proud of myself for just cooking.
My cooking tragedies
So many. The most recent was I left a pot of boiling chicken bones on the stove and left for a couple hours, when my sister got back home it was smoking like crazy. She picked it up and tried to put it outside and she burnt a big hole in the carpet. oops
