Ashley's African Peanut Soup

Delicious and surprising taste! Lots of goodies in the recipe add up to a nice soup. I would add a bit more spice to it as well as peanut butter however. I added quina instead of brown rice right to the soup the last two hours in the slow cooker. My guests enjoyed the soup and raved over it. Thanks for sharing Ashley!

Blackened Tilapia with Secret Hobo Spices

My husband said that Hobos must be eating better than we thought they did! This recipe is tasty and flavorful. I didn't have all the seasonings on hand, so did a Jamaician curry powder and Old Bay seasoning along with the onion and garlic powder. Sprinkled lemon juice on while fish was blackening. Served over a garlic white bread spread with a bit of butter. Added garlic couscous, grean beans and organic apricot applesauce to complete the feast. It was a very nice meal! Thanks! Those Hobo spices aren't so secret after all! : )

Balsamic Chicken with White Beans and Spinach

Great! I didn't have cannellini beans in the pantry, so used a can of no sodium black beans. Used heart healthy cream of mushroom soup to also keep the sodium down. Added onion to garlic/oil as suggested by another review. Also sprinkled some jerk seasoning and red bell/garlic seasoning combo on the chicken. Yum!

Savory Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Excellent recipe! Served them for a wine and cheese dinner party and decided to add these amazing mushrooms to the menu. My guests were so glad I did. I did add wine to the stuffing mix to keep it moist and it added so much more of a gourmet flavor to the recipe. I did what one review mentioned and made them the day before and had them marinate overnight fully made and soaking in the wine/butter mixture. I added monteray jack cheese on top. Baked them in advance and let them sit for a while before serving. Had rave reviews on this recipe.

This was an amazing recipe! Very easy to make with familiar ingredients found in the pantry. My family loved the taste and I will certainly make them again. I didn't change a thing in the recipe.

Chewy Granola Bars

Yummy! Great snacks to go or just a quick breakfast with healthy alternatives. I added flax seed for an extra boost, whole wheat flour and a bit extra butter as well. Do plan on pressing them firmly in the pan, they hold together better that way.
