Pear Bread I

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
I just finished baking this bread and my husband ate half of it already!! I added some ingredients after reading several reviews. I added about a cup more of pears, 1 smashed banana, about 1/8 of nutmeg, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, and 1 tsp of vanilla to make the bread sweeter.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2009
This cheesecake is awesome. I've made it on several occasions and everyone loves it. I made 2 this past Thanksgiving and it was gone before I had a chance to try it myself. I had never made cheesecake before and after trying this recipe I am sticking to it. Before you try making it read the reviews they are very helpful.

Buttermilk Pancakes II

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2010
We received a griddle for our wedding last year and I had never used it until I found this recipe. This recipe was delicious. The only thing I changed about this recipe was that I added 1 tsp of vanilla. Everything else about this recipe is right on. My hubby said, "these are the best pancakes you've ever made." At first I wasn't sure about doing the original amount but after reading several reviews I decided that since we are on a 4 day weekend it would be nice to have fresh pancakes everyday. So far we are on day 2 and we still have enough batter for one more day. Don't worry nothing will happen to it. I used to work at a restaurant at the "Happiest Place on Earth" and we always refrigerated left over batter. So far I've made chocolate chip pancakes and blueberry ones to add more bang to them but my hubby prefers them plain. This recipe is great. I really suggest you try it. Like previous reviewers suggestions I get the griddle at 350 degrees. UPDATE: I love these pancakes. I'll never go back to any other ones. I've made them on several occasions.

Bananas Foster II

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2010
This recipe was delicious and simple. It was just a tad too sweet for me and it tasted too much like rum but otherwise it was great. My hubby loved it.

This recipe was pretty good minus the red bell peppers plus cucumbers. :D Delicious way to use up ripe mangoes you have lying around.

Vegan Chocolate Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
I made this cake into cupcakes and they came out amazing. Some of my hubby's co-workers are vegan and it's hard to send goodies to work and excluding people. Per other reviewers I used 1/2 cup of chocolate powder instead of the 1/4 cup. I also added a 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla to give it a kick. Overall my hubby couldn't tell they were vegan and trust me he's not the vegan type. I thought they were pretty tasty. :D Update: I'm addicted to this recipe. I have made it for several people now. This past week I made it for friend that is allergic to a lot of things. This recipe taste better the second day. It's super moist and very tasty. The changes I've made are 1 cup + 2 tbsp of cake flour 1/2 cup of ap flour. 1/2 tsp of vanilla for added flavor. 3/4 cups of cocoa. Even if you don't change a thing this recipe is pretty tasty. :D Enjoy.

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Simple but delicious. I needed a cake quickly and this did the trick. I used a 8X3 cake pan and I was able to tort the cake into two layers for a nice size cake. This will be my go to cake from now on since you can customize it to your needs. :D

Mini Pumpkin Whoopie Pies

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
This year for Thanksgiving I made these for my family along with other delicious goodies and they were delicious. I followed everything exactly the same except I added the whole can of pumpkin puree. I also added cinnamon to the frosting and cut the butter down to 4 tbsp. These have now been requested for Christmas this year. :D Thanks Libby for helping me impress my family.

Best Brownies

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2010
These brownies were pretty tasty. I added a few chocolate chips and about 3 tablespoons of coffee. I didn't make the frosting and added powdered sugar on top. Just to be fair I had previously made these to the exactly as written and they were very tasty this time however I wanted to try something different.
