Easy Meatloaf

I have made this meatloaf 3 times now & my whole family loves it. Followed recipe, baking on a rack inside a baking dish so there is no greasy mess. I have not had meatloaf with milk in it so I was skeptical but adding the milk gives the meatloaf a wonderful texture & moistness. This has become a regular meal in my house, thank you!

Beefy Baked Ravioli

I've made this twice following the recipe exactly. It is easy & quick to prepare & is delicious! I especially love the cheesy meat sauce. Will continue to make for my family with a good salad & hot buttered rolls.

Frozen Strawberry Cheesecake Sandwich Cookies

Oh my, these are delicious, to my surprise. I wasn't sure as I was preparing these. The cookies stay soft even when frozen (so much better that way) & the strawberry mixture does not get ice crystals as I was afraid it would. My advise is only to make sure to let the cookies sit in the baking pan for a full 10 min to set, otherwise they are too soft to work with. This is a very time-consuming recipe so I make the cookies the night before & then make the strawberry mixture & assemble them the next morning, wrap & put in freezer. I do have to leave them in the freezer for more than 1 hour. DELICIOUS!

Sam's Famous Carrot Cake

This is the BEST carrot cake I have ever eat! So moist with the best combination of pineapple, coconut & walnuts. I left out the raisins (yuk). Cream cheese frosting is the perfect topping. Thank you for this recipe, I will be making this again & again.

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Delicious! I followed the recipe with no changes & we loved it! I served it hot right out of the oven with a big scoop of french vanilla icecream. The next time I make it (& I WILL be making it again!) I will watch the time closer. After 25 minutes it was a little too brown on top. Excellent recipe!

Sirloin Steak with Garlic Butter

We just finished eating this & I couldn't wait to send in a review! Oh my, was this delicious! I made the garlic butter just as posted & it really made the steak! The butter was so good in fact, we poured the remainder over our baked potatoes! Try it, you will not be dissapointed!

Cheesy Cheddar Potato Boats

I love these potatoes! It is a bit tricky to scoop the pulp out of the skins because they are so hot after baking. I have to hold them with a pot-holder! All the work to do that is so worth it, they are delicious - I followed the recipe exactly. Will make again often.

Italian Spaghetti Sauce with Meatballs

The meatballs were awesome but we didn't care for the sauce at all, it was too tomato'y with not enough spices. We ended up eating the meatballs on sub rolls instead & everyone loved them. The next day, I tasted the sauce again & it was really good. So, I think the problem was that it tastes better the next day. I think that most of the Italian food I have eaten are better the next day. IMHO. I probably will try this again, just make it a day ahead of time.

Best Beef and Broccoli

MMMM! Just made this for dinner tonight & everyone loved it. The beef was very tender (used round steak & sliced it myself). I didn't add salt because I know that soy sauce is naturally salty. Turns out that was the right move, it turned out perfectly seasoned. On the downside, we didn't care for the smell of it but don't let that stop you from trying this dish, it is very tasty! Will make often.

This sandwich is better than the one at my local deli. I used marbled rye/pumpernikel (sp)? bread from Pepperidge Farm then followed the recipe. Don't change a thing, it is delicious!

I thought this chicken tasted pretty good. However, I couldn't get it to brown like in the photos. I baked it in the oven as the recipe stated. Any advice for me, I would love to make it again.
