I really liked this recipe. My thought about the negative review is that perhaps that person didn't use minute rice. I can see how that would have made it horrible. It took longer to cook through in my oven than the recipe calls for. It was even more delicious the second and third days as leftovers!!

Red Velvet Cake I

This did not come out very well. I'm sure some of it was my inexperience. Next time I will use cake flour rather than regular flour and buy icing rather than trying to make it.

Fresh Herb Dinner Rolls

Delicious, have made it twice now. I found that I needed to add about 2 cups of water to the dough when mixing it to get it to pull together properly.

Fresh Pasta

Without a pasta machine, I found it difficult to get the pasta thin enough. The recipe itself was easy and fairly tasty, but the presentation was not very nice.

Pecan Sour Cream Pound Cake

Everybody loved it. The only advice I can give you is to make a little more glaze than the recipe calls for. It also took about 45 minutes longer to bake in my oven than the recipe states, but it was DELICIOUS!

Spanakopita (Greek Spinach Pie)

I didn't particularly enjoy this, although it was my own fault. I have never worked with fresh spinach before and did not remove the stems before putting it into the food processor. The stems made it bitter and stringy. REMOVE THE STEMS AND ONLY USE THE LEAVES and I'm sure you'll enjoy this much more than I did. It looked great!

Irish Cream Chocolate Cheesecake

It was delicious and not too difficult for my first baked cheesecake. Family and friends loved it, but not my SO who is a cheesecake freak. Said it tasted a little sour to him.
