Finally, A name for my Kitchen Aid Mixer

I am so happy to share that after owning my KA mixer for 7 endearing months, I have finally decided on a name for him.  I am naming him 'Dexter' after my favorite TV show.  And I believe it is fitting, since he chops, slices, grinds, and beats anything that is deserving of his attention.   :)  I love my mixer, and Dexter and I will have so much to look forward to in the years to come!

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one who is in love with a serial killer! (And I know I'm not the only one who is in love with their mixer). OMG-love the cat comment, still laughing!

About Me
My favorite things to cook
I love to try new recipes and often buy things that are new to me just so I can experiment with them. I love because it allows me to put in almost any ingredient I have and find a way to prepare it. The user reviews are also incredibly helpful.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I was raised on good 'from scratch' cooking. My mother often made homemade pies, chicken noodle soup, and also a lot of German/Scandinavian foods.
My cooking tragedies
Cooking with an old hotplate in my in laws basement when we were young and didn't have our own place yet. It electrocuted us constantly so we needed to wear tennis shoes and a wooden spoon!
