Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches

Reviewed: Feb. 21, 2011
Made this last night for friends and it was devoured! I used the whole packet of ranch mix and most of the sauce. To server, I gave options of blue cheese crumbles, ranch dressing, and sauteed peppers/onions. I served it with homemade coleslaw...AMAZING! Especially with the blue cheese and peppers/onions!

Dad's Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2010
These came out all right. I tried replacing the oil w/ apple sauce and baking soda with baking powder (I was out) and they just tasted too cakey. Oh well, next time I won't mess with the ingredients!

Addictive Sweet Potato Burritos

Reviewed: Mar. 31, 2010
Yummy! Cooked the sweet potato in the microwave, scooped it out and lightly salted. Mashed pink beans in some olive oil and garlic...added 1/2c. water and taco seasoning. Put on the tortilla potato, bean mixture, salsa and cheese and chowed down. So good and cooked in less than 15mins! Next time I'll add some avacado!

Reviewed: Mar. 20, 2010
Amazing recipe! I substituted the all-purpose flour with wheat flour and added raisins! I also did not have buttermilk so I used a combination of milk/vinegar...I can't get enough of it! I just toasted some up with butter, mmmmmmmm

Special Buttercream Frosting

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
Love it! I did 1c. Butter and 1c. Shortening and it was perfect for piping...it was the first time I made homemade frosting and this one is a keeper! I love the use of cream instead of milk! (I actually bought whipping cream by accident but worked great!) I also added the full amount of sugar if not more and I did not find it overly sweet at all. Thank you for the great recipe Rick!

I just made these cookies today and they came out great! I dipped half of the cookie in chocolate (2/3 cup chocolate chips & 3 tblsp butter melted) after they cooled. I've already eaten 4...had to pack away the rest before I ate more...can't wait to bring these to work!

Really good! Although I took someone's advice to add a touch of cinnamon and added too much. But they're still amazing with milk chocolate frosting to top them off!! Definetly a keeper!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
Came out perfect...EXCEPT I substituted Chile Garlic Sauce for the Hot Sauce and 2 tablespoons made the dish super spicy! (next time I'll only use 1 tbl.)But it still tasted amazing!! And putting the chicken in flour before cooking is a great tip as well. I served it with Jasmine rice and roasted green beans! Can't wait to make it again!!
