Szechwan Shrimp

I didn't care for the flavor of this. I think it's the ketchup that I don't like but I can't pin point it. It was easy to make but will not make again. I believe there are better recipes for shrimp.

I modified this recipe by cutting back on the sugar to 3/4 c since some thought it was too sweet and tasted like cake. Next time I will not cut back on sugar and use equal parts of flour and corn meal since I believe the cake taste is due to too much flour and not enough cornmeal.

Penne with Chicken and Pesto

I made this exactly as the recipe states but I took the complaints of others into account. Instead of doubling the sauce I made 1/2 more, and cut the penne down by removing one cup from the 16oz box. I don't feel I had too much of one or the other and had enough sauce to soak up with a nice crusty bread. The flavor was good, but I wish I would have thickened the sauce with maybe more cheese. It was a little thin. Would make again though. When someone says not enough sauce I believe them. A big Italian chain restaurant never gives enough sauce so I don't go there. Who wants dry pasta...

BREAKSTONE'S Creamy Layered Enchilada Bake

I have tried other Mexican type casseroles but this is the best one yet. I made it exactly as directed and it turned out great. Am thinking about making this for next pot luck dinner for something different.

Easy Cheese Ball II

This cheese ball recipe is very easy to make and tastes great! I gave 6 away as gifts last year for Christmas and every one loved them. I am making some right now for my family, it's become a nice tradition and it is just as good or better than Hickory Farms cheese balls.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

My family loves this recipe! I don't like to rate a recipe when I change it but I thought it may be helpful to mention that I used 2 1/2 cups of frozen soup veggies in place of the carrots, peas, and celery since I always have them on hand and it still turned out great. Thanks Robbie!

Traditional Salisbury Steak

This recipe was quick and easy. I made this w/o mushrooms since my family doesn't like them, but I had to add a little brown sugar to the sauce to tame the worchesire. I will probably make them again, but with four patties so their not so thick. Thanks!

Uncle Josh's Famous Chicken and Rice

I am so sorry but this recipie is really bad. Imagine all the cumin and tyme for only four cooked cups rice, then imagine six bland chicken breasts baked on top. Thats exactly what is is and what it tastes like! It was really strong rice with bland chicken. I decided to make this because it seemed a lot healthier than other chicken and rice dishes, but I was so disappointed. To make matters worse I had a friend over to eat that night, and when I offered to put frozen pizza in for her instead she accepted!

Cream Cheese Sugar Cookies

I found these cookies to be neither chewy or soft, although they were good. They are pretty rich and I find that I can't eat as many of these as I do other sugar cookies.

Clone of a Cinnabon

Brown Sugar Meatloaf

All Day Macaroni and Cheese

I have been searching all over for a creamy mac and cheese recipe. I am sorry to say this is NOT creamy, although it is still good (but not better than my own recipe to switch over). This recipie maybe be good for those who don't know how to make a white sauce since you just throw everything together in the crock pot. It would be good for a covered dish get togehter too becasue the crock pot could keep it warm. This is probably all I'll use this recipe for. Thanks for the submission anyway.
