I made this at home a few months ago and it was fantastic! A question I want to put out to the more cooking saavy: I'm currently in China working as an English teacher. One of the young girls I am teaching wanted to learn to bake so I took the opportunity to combine a little baking recipe with her English lesson. Unfortunately, It looks like I over-promised. Many of the ovens here only go up to 60C! She was really disappointed when i said we couldn't make chocolate chip cookies and I really don't want to disappoint her again but I'm a little concerned that I won't be able to find quick cooking oats in beijing! They don't do alot of baking here. So my question is 3 parts: 1) Are there any expats living in Beijing who know where I can buy these ingredients? 2) What can I replace the oats with if I can't find them? or Are there any other No-Bake cookies that don't require them and still taste yummy? and 3) If there ARE any expats living in Beijing who use this site, how about a cup of coffee and recipe talk?!
