About this Cook
I AM MARRIED, HAVE TWO CHILDREN AND WORK FULL TIME AS A HOME CARE PEDIATRICS NURSE.
My favorite things to cook
MY FAVORITE THINGS TO COOK ARE DESSERTS, AND THINGS THAT HAVE A LITTLE ARTISTIC FLAIR SUCH AS SUGAR COOKIES AND CAKES.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I GREW UP IN A FAMILY WITH OLD SCHOOL COOKING. I LEARNED HOW TO MAKE CHEESE AND BUTTER FROM MILK, AND HOW TO CAN MANY DIFFERENT FOODS. MY FAVORITE MEMORIES FROM COOKING WERE COOKING WITH MY MOM FOR CHRISTMAS.
My cooking triumphs
I THINK MY GREATEST COOKING TRIUMPH MIGHT HAVE BEEN THE LARGE CORNICOPIA I MADE OUT OF BREAD DOUGH FOR THANKSGIVING A FEW YEARS BACK, I EVEN MADE ROLLS OF DIFFERING TYPES TO PUT INSIDE IT--EVERYBODY THOUGHT IT WAS AWESOME. EVERYONE WANTED TO KNOW HOW I BAKED IT!
My cooking tragedies
OOOH---TOO MANY TO LIST, BUT ONE THING IS FOR SURE, IF AT FIRST YOU DON'T SUCCEED, TRY, TRY AGAIN!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins
This is by far the best blueberry muffin recipe that I have tried. My family ate them up and were asking for more before the day was over! I used thawed & drained frozen blueberries and it worked just as well as fresh. A side note: the recipe makes enough topping for at least 2 batches of muffins.

Monkey Bread I
This recipe was easy to make, tasted great, and my kids loved it! It was easy for them to help as well. I would be careful of using a tube pan though, a bundt pan would be better, because the syrup that coats it can leak out, causing a HUGE mess.
