YUM! Very good recipe, dont like avacado so we didnt add that and we were missing the onion...added seeded jalapeno though (which I would have left some of the seeds, not nearly as hot as was hoping.

Grandma's Sloppy Joes

Reviewed: Apr. 17, 2011
My 2nd attempt at making sloppy joes, and this recipe is a winner! yuuum! I never measure my ingredients, and doubt I put in a whole cup of ketchup. I added a small can of tomato paste and squirt some ketchup over the top. Cloves do this recipe wonders!!!!

Ground Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2011
Quick and good! Great weeknight throw together recipe, I have been looking for more of these. Took others suggestions and increased the tomato sauce (I used crushed tomatoes though) And seasoned the meat with a little butter and oregano....Next time I think I will add corn for a veggie.

Pancakes I

Great recipe, MUST add vanilla as suggested by others...otherwise they're way to bland, I like my pancakes to have flavor before adding anything like choc. chips or blueberries...Very good :-)

REALLY yummy! I doubled it and used whole milk instead of half and half as that is what we had on hand, Not TO thick but not to runny.

Wild Rice with Mushrooms

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2010
Made this for the first time for Christmas Eve Dinner, VERY tasty and healthy! Served with Venison back straps. I did not use pecans since we did not have any, and it still tasted very yummy. Did not change anything besides used whatever brand of ingredients I normally use.

Tater Tot Casserole III

Reviewed: Nov. 24, 2010
Great recipe although I took others advice and did not put any butter in nor did I top with corn flakes, the tots are crispy enough. Put a layer of tots, then the mixture and added frozen mixed veggies (this recipe is similar to a Minnesota family favorite that calls for ground beef and steak seasoning) But great taste, this version without butter and the topping is very light and not to rich.

Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2010
AMAZING! Never have I made such delicious muffins. The key that I found is to "sandwich" the cream cheese "filling" between the batter, I put a little batter on bottom, some cream cheese filling then more batter on top then the streusel...absolutely delicious! mmmm Following recipe to a T

Robbi's M&M Cookies

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2010
I made these cookies EXACTLY how the recipe is written and YUUUM! I usually never cook or bake with shortening, but sometimes it is just plain yummy. I didnt measure my M&Ms just eye balled it so there was plenty in each cookie. And also added 3 on top for presence! I made them about the size of a golf ball or larger, and they turned out big and fat and full, about the size of my palm. I love a big fat soft cookie. But doing it that way I only came out with 12 cookies, next time I will triple the recipe. JUST TASTED THESE, WONDERFUL! THINK I WILL ADD 1/2 CUP OF PEANUT BUTTER NEXT TIME

Rosemary Chicken Noodle Soup

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Making this right now and the whole house smells amazing. Only changes I made was adding chicken bouillon cubes for flavor... Also would have rather used egg noodles than Penne but I did not have either so used bow tie noodles. I know its going to taste great! despite some lesser rateings.

Garlic Chive Chicken

mmm I made this on a whim for dinner tonight and very tasty! I did not have a whole lemon so just used lemon juice, as well as crushed garlic instead of roasting it. I agree with other posts, if you like sauce, be sure to make extra!

My sister and I made these for the first time yesterday and they are sooo good! We used both Reeses cups and Caramel filled Hershey kisses to mix it up a bit, To add some decor to it before cooking we rolled the dough in colored sugar...
