California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
This DELICIOUS!! Next time I will cut back a bit on the garlic since the cloves I used were pretty big. I couldn't find yellow squash so I bought some big white mushrooms (thinking portabello would have been better). Also, I have to buy a veggie grilling basket - I lost half my veggies in the fire lol! I used rosmeary foccacia bread too and I can't wait to eat this again! Thanks for the recipe :)

Baked Ham Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2012
This was so good! I didn't have any dried onion so I used about a 1/4 cup of finely chopped fresh onion. Also used a very good quality Black Forrest Ham - was so good I brought one for lunch at work and ended up eating it for breakfast :)

Gourmet Chicken Pizza

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2011
Excellent!!! I was lazy and bought some diced tomatoes in a can....they were basil, olive oil and garlic flavored and I dont' think I would use just regular tomatoes in the future after having done this. It added a ton of great flavor. The only other thing I added was bacon to make it a little more sinful ;) Very good recipe thanks for sharing - it will be a staple in my house.

Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Reviewed: Dec. 16, 2010
This is very good if you cut the sausage into bite size pieces and boil them first to get some of the fat off. We've served at several get togethers at our office.

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

Reviewed: Jul. 19, 2010
We had an office bbq last week and I found this recipe and convinced them to let me marinate 80 steaks with this recipe. It was a HUGE HIT!!! The fresh lemons were not real nice and they were pricey so we used Real Lemon Juice instead. I will use fresh at home in the future though.... :)

Easy and Elegant Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2010
This was ok. I added some extra flavor as other users suggested...onion/garlic powder and salt and pepper. It may have been the type of bread crumbs I used but I didn't think it was a *wow* type of recipe. One user stated they tented the meat after it cooked, so I tried that for about 15 minutes while it rested. If you want the crust crispy - don't do this...it made it soggy. I am going to try it again but will marinate the meat to get more flavor.

Marble Squares I

Reviewed: Jun. 2, 2010
Simple and Delicious! My 9 yo daughter and I made these for a bake sale at school. I'm not sure why people are saying you need to wait 10 minutes before swirling....maybe it's the type of chips you use? Mine swirled just fine at 3 minutes. These are a keeper in my house :) psst...a few didn't make it to the sale ;)

Shepherd's Pie VI

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2010
Excellent!!! I hate saying that I made changes to a recipe, but after I read some reviews I also decided to add a bit more flavor to the meat. I added fresh chopped garlic and worcestshire sauce. I steamed some frozen peas and corn and used them instead of carrots. I used some of the water I used to steam while mashing my potatoes as they seemed a bit dry...(yellow potatoes). Cannot wait to try this again - with the carrots this time! :) For sure the gravy is the secret to delicious shepherd's pie! Mine were always dry - thanks so much for sharing!

Excellent...I didn't have any dijon, so I used regular and it was still very good. Next time I will make a foil packet of mushrooms / onions and use some of the marinade on them. Thanks for the recipe!!

Barbeque Pork Two Ways

Reviewed: Mar. 13, 2009
This was really good. I'm not a big fan of pork most times and I enjoyed this. Sure does make alot. I wonder if it freezes well after it's cooked? I cut back a bit on the ketchup and added about 3tbsps of Heinz 57 sauce. Very good :) My 16 mth old loves it.
