Italian Style Meatloaf I

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
We always rate our new meals and my family gave this 8-10 stars. I did delete the canned tomatoes and used 1/2 ground turkey. I subbed provolone for the mozzarella for a little more flavor. Even my meatloaf hater gave it 8 stars.

Potato Pancakes II

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2011
Everyone loved this recipe....I did add 1 tsp onion powder since other recipes call for some onions and my kids don't like them. I also took the advice of some of you and added 2 TBSP of flour to help them stick together. Served with sour cream and homemade applesauce. Delicious!

Blackened Salmon Fillets

Whoa...way too spicy. I only used 1/2 tsp. of cayanne pepper and my family wouln't eat it. Maybe if you cut out the cayanne it would be better.

We took the advice of others and cut the honey down and only used 2 Tbsp. Also, used 2 T of water and 2 T of white balsamic vingar.....then I thickend the sauce with a little cornstarch and a little more water....had a really good taste, not too sweet or sour.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2011
I'm not a big fan of turkey soup but feel guilty throwing out the carcass, so I decided to try this cream soup. To my surprise it was pretty good. However, next time I will reduce the onions to half and saute some fresh mushrooms. This time I also added some thyme which gave it a better flavor.
