Salisbury Steak

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2011
Yummy! I followed the recipe for the meat, but listened to people and added onions and garlic to the meat mixture and a bit more spices. For the sauce, I used the french onion soup that was left over, a can of cream of mushroom soup, and I added sauteed onions and mushrooms to it with a package of Lipton's Onion Soup...does NOT need salt if you use the Liptons. Put it on top of mashed potatoes and it was awesome.

I am gluten-free so I substituted the ketchup for gluten free Taco Bel Mild Sauce and it was AWESOME!

Love them! I make these all the time now. Sometimes I let them cook for an extra 3-5 minutes for a little bit mroe crispy/blackened potatoes, I like them that way.

Mushrooms in White Wine Sauce

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
It was alright, I would make it again. It definately had a seafoodish taste to it, maybe because of the white wine and garlic? Lots and lots of cheese make this dish tasty.

Stovetop Ham and Penne

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
I didn't care for this dish. The ham stuck to the cheese in big clumps and didn't spread out evenly in a sauce. I feel like it was a lot of ingredients that taste good, but not when mixed together. If I made it again, I would try changing teh cheddar/colby cheese to swiss and parmesan, it might taste better.

Bellyful of Barbecued Bananas

Reviewed: May 25, 2009
SO YUMMY! I used butter and a pan to fry it in. I let the butter melt, and then I put the bananas in with high heat. I put them in for only about 45-60 seconds per side. This kept the bananas from getting gooey! If you let them cook to long, they get all mushy and loose their banana taste
