Sukhothai Pad Thai

Reviewed: Nov. 16, 2009
I liked this alot, I doubled the batch for company and it didnt have enough sauce (probably my fault) but it tasted like a restaraunt, not exactly, but pretty close. It was my first try, next time ai think it will be better. I could not find dried raddish anywhere so taht got left out. I added a little thai peanut sauce and added cilantro from other recipes.

Spinach and Pasta Shells

Reviewed: Jun. 30, 2009
Well, I used way to much pepper flakes, probably 2 spoons, after that we couldn't really recover, when i sauted them it made me and my husband cough and filled the whole house. I liked the spinach, my husband didn't. I also used asparagus but I didn't think the recipe had much flavor. It could be though that I just messed it up.

Penne a la Vodka II

Reviewed: Jun. 22, 2009
I loved this. I love creamy pasta, my husband loves tomatoe based pasta and this was a perfect blend. I added red pepper flakes and chicken. I didn't think it was necessary to do all the seperate simmering of each ingrediant so I shortened the simmer times of all of them except for the initial simmering of the tomatoes to burn off some of the juice. It turned out wonderfule. Next time I think I will add a little more vodka for taste. Great recipe!

Crispy Orange Beef

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
This was so incredibly good. The first thing my husband said was "wow baby" It was a little time consuming for my busy life so I will do this again asa treat for him or for when I have company. My husband said he liked it better than PF Changs mongolian beef which is his favorite. Loved it and directions are easy to follow.

I have been trying to find a good salsa recipe and till now I never have got a good one. This salsa is so good. I am a big fan of heat so I used two habanero peppers and it wasn't too hot for anyone. I took a batch camping with 2 other families and everyone asked to use it for all there dinners and a snack. Everyone loved it.

Homemade Mac and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2009
I am a new cook, I made this recipe for me and my husband, it was very easy but I was disappointed, it did not have much flavor and was bland, I will use the basics for this recipe again but spice it up next time. The bread crumbs on top were great.
