About this Cook
Meat makes me heave so I can't eat it. My family loves to tease me because I crave it alot but can't get it in my mouth. I try not to let my children know so they won't have the same dorky thing happen to them.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook pastas, salads, soups, sandwiches, and dressings. Let's just say... I am a carbaholic.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I love to cook fun, festive things for my children for every single holiday. I always decorate and find fun dishes to serve on. Food coloring and cookie cutters can make anything festive.
My cooking tragedies
Who knew you could scorch spaghetti noodles in a pot of boiling water? I had a large group of friends coming to dinner in 10 minutes. I put the noodles in the pot, got distracted and didn't stir them. They stuck together and burned to the bottom of the pan. It gets worse... I wanted to speed up the process so I used the same boiling water for the next batch. They tasted really burnt. I had to cook pasta 3 times!

Ramen Coleslaw
Followed instructions exactly and it was so good! Simple but very flavorful dressing. I think it would be delicious to add crispy bacon too. Trying that next time.

Ranch Dressing II
I made this recipe with the mayo/buttermilk for salad dressing and it did have a strong dill flavor as others said. Luckily I love dill, but it was not the ranch flavor I was looking for. Still delicious!

Peanut Butter Noodles
I just made this for dinner and followed the recipe exactly as written. It was very flavorful and tasted like it came from a fancy restaurant. A bit strong for my taste to just eat it by itself. When it was about half gone, I decided I needed something else to eat with it to shake up the flavor. I put it in Iceberg lettuce and made lettuce wraps... It was SO good! I will definitely be keeping this recipe on hand to make in the future.
